It's nowhere near October, but one ensemble is already on track to be named the most controversial Halloween costume of 2015.

Social media users were out in full force on Monday criticizing several Halloween retailers for offering a Caitlyn Jenner costume reminiscent of the former-athlete's Vanity Fair cover earlier this year.

While Jenner's supporters condemned the costume as "transphobic" and "disgusting" on Twitter, Spirit Halloween, a retailer that carries the costume, defended the getup.

"At Spirit Halloween, we create a wide range of costumes that are often based upon celebrities, public figures, heroes and superheroes," said Lisa Barr, senior director of marking at Spirit Halloween. "We feel that Caitlyn Jenner is all of the above and that she should be celebrated. The Caitlyn Jenner costume reflects just that."

In the shocking footage, the man wearing a security guard shirt approaches the mother of the child, who appears to be around 7 or 8-years-old, saying “just pull it up and everything will be fine,” regarding her mask not being high enough on her face.

Moments later, the man is grabbing the child by the back of her pink sweatshirt and dragging her out of the store.

You haven't quite made yourself into the zeitgeist of all things unfunny unless you've hosted Saturday Night Live at some point over the last 20 years.

And now that'll be the latest adventure for Elon Musk, who, instead of spending his Saturday night thinking really deeply about how he plans on turning long-term profits at both SpaceX and Tesla, he'll instead be joining Miley Cyrus on Saturday Night Live.

NBC made the announcement "just hours" after the SpaceX Crew Dragon capsule docked with the International Space Station.

The show isn't well known for having businesspeople host, but Musk's crossover into the realm of celebrity appears to have afforded him the opportunity. Musk has also made guest appearances on CBS shows Young Sheldon and The Big Bang Theory, as well as voicing a part on South Park, The Simpsons and Rick and Morty.

For better or for worse, it's going to get eyeballs on the show, which is NBC's endgame. The news triggered the lot of super-liberal SNL viewers, who lashed out at the program on Twitter, which became a group "cancel" effort/therapy session for snowflakes:

A wild, caught-on-camera brawl broke out between two families dining at a crab restaurant in Mississippi — the latest in seafood-centric dust-ups, according to a report.

Footage shows the crabby customers first hurling curse-laced insults at the Juicy Seafood Kickin Crab restaurant in Jackson on Saturday , according to CBS’ News 12.

But the scuffle turns violent when some of the brawlers begin throwing punches — along with chairs, glasses, and napkins holders, according to the footage.

“The little children that were nearby could have easily been hurt,” Stella Jones, assistant manager at the restaurant, told the station. “This is our first experience of something like this, so we’re gonna have to put something in place.”

Jones called police but the families bolted before cops arrived — leaving the eatery trashed.

“Once they heard the police were on the way, they left,” said local city councilman Ashby Foote.

No other customers or workers were injured during the brawl and the restaurant offered discounts to people who witnessed it. It wasn’t immediately clear what started the fight.

In March 2019, footage showed a massive fight over crab legs erupt inside of a Chinese buffet in Queens.

The previous month, a fracas over crab legs at an Alabama buffet turned into a brawl where hungry diners jousted with tongs and smashed plates.

The lady being interviewed seemed upset that the police arrived after the brawlers left, about five minutes after being called.

Don't be upset if the police don't want to get roped into some "murder my husband and give me 25 million dollars" scam.

Technically eggs can be considered vegetarian, as some vegetarians will eat animal byproducts that don’t kill the animal, like milk, eggs, and honey. And it depends on the vegetarian, some won’t eat eggs, some won’t use dairy, some just don’t eat anything on the land but will eat fish and seafood.

Vegans are the ones who won’t eat any of that.

Pennsylvania bar president resigns after he's charged with patronizing a prostitute

Pennsylvania Bar Association President David Eric Schwager resigned Tuesday, the same day that he was charged with patronizing a prostitute who allegedly tried to extort him.

Schwager, 58, had a sexual encounter with a woman in December 2019 after hiring her through an escort website, criminal complaints allege. Emily Ann Merth, 25, has been charged with promoting prostitution, theft by extortion and sexual extortion.

The Legal Intelligencer, Law360 and the Times Leader have details of the criminal complaints.

Schwager told police that Merth had secretly recorded the encounter at a residence in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania. And when he noticed that it was happening, he told her to stop. When Merth said she would record audio only, Schwager got dressed and left, according to details in criminal complaints cited by the news articles.

Merth allegedly threatened to post a nude video of Schwager if he didn’t pay her $1,000. The woman lowered her demand to $700, and Schwager contacted police, the criminal complaints allege.

Merth was arrested when Schwager returned to the home, ostensibly to pay her the money, and she went outside to meet him. She allegedly told police that she videotapes sexual encounters to sell and make more money.

Schwager is a Luzerne County assistant solicitor. He has been placed on administrative leave without pay, according to the Times Leader. He was also chair of Pennsylvania’s attorney disciplinary board in 2017, according to the Legal Intelligencer.

The bar association’s executive director, Barry M. Simpson, released this statement to the publications covering Schwager’s resignation: “While the charge is troubling, every person accused of a crime is considered innocent until proven guilty, and we have confidence in the operation of our justice system.”
