It's nowhere near October, but one ensemble is already on track to be named the most controversial Halloween costume of 2015.

Social media users were out in full force on Monday criticizing several Halloween retailers for offering a Caitlyn Jenner costume reminiscent of the former-athlete's Vanity Fair cover earlier this year.

While Jenner's supporters condemned the costume as "transphobic" and "disgusting" on Twitter, Spirit Halloween, a retailer that carries the costume, defended the getup.

"At Spirit Halloween, we create a wide range of costumes that are often based upon celebrities, public figures, heroes and superheroes," said Lisa Barr, senior director of marking at Spirit Halloween. "We feel that Caitlyn Jenner is all of the above and that she should be celebrated. The Caitlyn Jenner costume reflects just that."

OZZY OSBOURNE Officially Cancels 2023 European Tour, Says His Touring Days Are Over

https://blabbermouth.net/news/ozzy-osbourne-officially-cancels-2023-european-tour

Ozzy Osbourne's previously announced European tour with guests JUDAS PRIEST, originally set for 2019 and then rescheduled three times, has officially been canceled.

Late Tuesday night (January 31),Ozzy released the following statement: "This is probably one of the hardest things I've ever had to share with my loyal fans. As you may all know, four years ago, this month, I had a major accident, where I damaged my spine. My one and only purpose during this time has been to get back on stage. My singing voice is fine. However, after three operations, stem cell treatments, endless physical therapy sessions, and most recently groundbreaking Cybernics (HAL) Treatment, my body is still physically weak.

"I am honestly humbled by the way you've all patiently held onto your tickets for all this time, but in all good conscience, I have now come to the realization that I'm not physically capable of doing my upcoming European/UK tour dates, as I know I couldn't deal with the travel required. Believe me when I say that the thought of disappointing my fans really FUCKS ME UP, more than you will ever know.

"Never would I have imagined that my touring days would have ended this way. My team is currently coming up with ideas for where I will be able to perform without having to travel from city to city and country to country.

"I want to thank my family……my band…….my crew……my longtime friends, JUDAS PRIEST, and of course, my fans for their endless dedication, loyalty, and support, and for giving me the life that I never ever dreamed I would have.

"I love you all…"

Ozzy's farewell European tour was set to begin in Helsinki, Finland in May.

Ticket refunds are available at point of purchase.

Ozzy initially scrapped his entire 2019 schedule as he recovered from surgery to repair an injury sustained while dealing with a bout of pneumonia. The tour was postponed a second time after Ozzy continued to deal with health issues following a fall in his Los Angeles home. That fall "aggravated years-old injuries" from an ATV accident that occurred in 2003. The tour was pushed back a third time in October 2020 due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Had Ozzy's European tour with JUDAS PRIEST tour taken place in May 2023, it would have been more than four years later than originally planned, and almost five years after tickets first went on sale in September 2018.

In December, Ozzy was spotted leaning on a cane while shopping at the luxury supermarket Erewhon Market in Los Angeles. A female assistant helped him maneuver his shopping cart through the store. The 74-year-old is continuing to deal with health woes, including a serious spinal injury that has left him struggling to walk even six months after another surgery.

But he told SiriusXM: "I still have a lot in the tank. I'm determined to get back on the stage again. I'm still in recovery, and I have a goal. And my goal is to get back on stage. It's the driving force in me. I miss my audience. I miss doing gigs. I miss my crew. I miss my band. I miss the whole thing.

"My family has been so good," he added. "I am the man of the family, but I have never been this laid up in my life."

Three years ago, Ozzy publicly revealed his battle with Parkinson's disease. The singer was first diagnosed with the neurological disorder back in 2003, but he didn't disclose that he was stricken with the disease until a January 2020 appearance on "Good Morning America".

Eighteen years ago, Ozzy said that he had been diagnosed with Parkin syndrome, a genetic condition which has symptoms similar to that of Parkinson's disease, such as body shakes. At the time, he said that he was relieved his debilitating body tremors were from Parkin and not his lifetime of drug abuse.

It's going to be sad to see him go. But he seems to be in a real downward spiral health wise. Once he had that bad fall things just got worse.

We all knew this would happen. Just enjoy your retirement Ozzy. After seeing that halftime performance where he looked like a marionette and his voice was obviously being pumped in I knew it was 100% over.

That's too bad. For a guy who was smeared as Satan incarnate for years and drugged himself into a permanent stupor to the point he no longer needed drugs because he literally was drugs, Ozzy has always been a stand-up dude.

So far no fatalities; let's hope it stays that way. Apparently the water supply hasn't been contaminated, but I wouldn't want to be breathing that air.

Dr. Siddhartha Mukherjee claims that a breakthrough new method of cell therapy can cure certain types of cancer once thought untreatable. He takes Vikram Chandra through how this new cure works, and what are the chances it’ll become a new miracle for those affected by the deadly disease.
I hope you guys realize just how complex cancer is.

Anybody offering you a solution to cancer is a liar.

Cancer is a disease in a very specific form of the word, in that disease is a disorder in form or function. Well, what is it that is disordered? From my understanding, and I am no doctor, there's a gene that is involved in cell division that gets messed up. Well that's curious, because cell division and multicellularity are VERY OLD, like really really really fuckin old, older than the lobster ancestors jordan peterson would yap about in a drug induced haze.

so the suggestion is that some idiot scam artist has some breakthrough technology solving some issue that has been deeply ingrained in evolution for like 2 billion years (probably more like 3). We haven't even been able to bring back the woolly mammoth and they try like hell and have a lot of DNA to work with.

To give you a horizon for when we figure out cancer: it'll probably happen about the same time that we figure out the origin of life on earth and the nature of life. Or in other words, in like 60 years.

A bus crashed in Laval near Montreal, there's two kids dead.

Two children dead and six others were injured after a Laval, Que. city bus crashed into a local daycare Wednesday morning.

The driver of the bus, a 51-year-old man, has been arrested and faces charges of homicide and dangerous driving, police say.

The incident took place at the Garderie éducative Sainte-Rose on Dufferin Terrace in Laval's Sainte-Rose district shortly after 8:30 a.m. Nine ambulances were sent to the scene, and the other six children are no longer in critical condition.

Aerial news footage from the scene shows the bus smashed into the front of the building. The daycare is located at the end of a driveway, and the driver would have had to leave the road and drive down the driveway to hit it. The reason for the crash is still unknown, and authorities are asking people to avoid the area.

A parent at the scene alleged the driver "entered the daycare parking lot and accelerated to crash into the daycare."

"It was clear he wasn’t in his right mind at that moment," she said.

Laval Mayor Stephane Boyer said police are looking into the events prior to the crash, adding that the driver had been employed with the STL for a decade.

A neighbour to the daycare said he rushed over to the scene of the crash. Hamdi Benchaabane told reporters that he and three parents managed to subdue the driver, who he said had stepped out of the bus, removed all his clothing and started screaming.

"A bus crashed" is a bit of an understatement. It did more than crash. It was deliberately driven into the daycare, then the driver exited, stripped naked, and started screaming incoherently before he was taken down by locals.

James O'Keefe is placed on leave by Project Veritas.

You can read it without paywall here…

James O’Keefe, the founder and chairman of Project Veritas, has taken a paid leave from the nonprofit media organization as its board considers whether to remove him from his leadership position, according to current and former employees of the organization.

An internal message sent to Project Veritas employees by the organization’s executive director, Daniel Strack, said that O’Keefe would be taking “a few weeks of well-deserved PTO.” An image of the message was shared by a source familiar with the organization’s internal operations, and its authenticity was confirmed by a current employee. When reached for comment on his personal cell phone, O’Keefe said nothing in response and did not respond to follow-up calls and text messages.

Through a Project Veritas spokesman, Strack later released a statement on behalf of the organization. “Like all newsrooms at this stage, the Project Veritas Board of Directors and Management are constantly evaluating what the best path forward is for the organization,” the statement read in part. It did not directly address questions about O’Keefe’s employment status. “There are 65+ employees at Project Veritas dedicated to continuing the mission to expose corruption, dishonesty, waste, fraud, and other misconduct in both public and private institutions,” the statement read. “To our supporters: We hear you, we care about you, and we will never give up.”
To see this happening just after they raided Pfizer. It's more than just a simple coincidence and there's more than meet the eyes.
