It's nowhere near October, but one ensemble is already on track to be named the most controversial Halloween costume of 2015.

Social media users were out in full force on Monday criticizing several Halloween retailers for offering a Caitlyn Jenner costume reminiscent of the former-athlete's Vanity Fair cover earlier this year.

While Jenner's supporters condemned the costume as "transphobic" and "disgusting" on Twitter, Spirit Halloween, a retailer that carries the costume, defended the getup.

"At Spirit Halloween, we create a wide range of costumes that are often based upon celebrities, public figures, heroes and superheroes," said Lisa Barr, senior director of marking at Spirit Halloween. "We feel that Caitlyn Jenner is all of the above and that she should be celebrated. The Caitlyn Jenner costume reflects just that."

I believe $10,000 as a financial transaction is above a reporting requirement. Anyone who sold him that for raw cash probably broke the law too.

Also what gun shop even HAS that much? This was some distributor, or entirely illegal.

But it is not 'surprising' in any way that gun stores, possibly in utah (almost certainly run by greedy conservatard boomers) sold a large amount of ammunition for cash to a beaner. Do you live in NY where ammunition sales require a background check? Do you think that criminal organizations haven't figured out that any objections that boomer conservative trash might have to selling large amounts of ammo to beaners wouldn't be overriden by them expressing love for ammurrica and da flag in broken english, or, failing that, accusations of racism?

Nothing is at all 'surprising' about this:
  • 7.62x39 at cartel quality isn't $1000 a case.
  • why would anyone believe they bought all this at a single store? criminals... sometimes lie
  • if you haven't seen dashcam footage, there's no reason to believe that any lights were non-functional on the vehicle. even if you had, obviously those weren't the actual reasons for the van being pulled over
  • one of the conservatard boomers who sold them ammo probably went ahead and did it because he's a greedy boomer and wanted the money and then called his cop buddy because he doesn't like beaners but is too gay to be honest about being racist

I don't believe a single gun store in the country would have sold this amount of ammo for cash to a beaner. Literally $130,000? In cash? From a beaner? It was some other cartel member who sold it. Somehow they obtained it.

I'd be amazed it was from a federally licensed seller.

This story stinks like a week old mackerel.

This is what the true Jew-hating face looks like of an alleged “civil rights” group.

Noora Shalash let her mask slip as a former leader in CAIR (Council on American Islamic Relations). She was caught on camera committing a hate crime. Screaming “f**k the Jews” was merely a prelude to her recent foul-mouthed rant in a midtown Manhattan building. She suggested “ISIS” should “kill them all,” aiming most of her vitriol at an innocent passerby, a Hasidic Jew.

The incident made global headlines, but that was barely a blip on CAIR’s radar screen. Active members know better than to have anti-Semitic meltdowns in public. They get plenty of training and grooming in the more than 30 chapters spread throughout the U.S. and Canada: They must present themselves as “civil rights” leaders, “advancing justice for all.”

Apparently, Shalash was a former member of CAIR who hadn’t been associated with the Kentucky chapter for more than five years. That was most useful for CAIR leaders to distance themselves from the public spectacle. “Unacceptable” was the word used by CAIR -- which must protect its image of “defending the oppressed.” (No matter how many shared her sentiments.) She was on her own to confront criminal charges of aggravated harassment and second-degree hate crime.

A wildfire in Israel had closed the main highway linking Tel-Aviv to Jerusalem.

JERUSALEM (AP) — A wildfire shut the main highway linking Tel Aviv to Jerusalem on Wednesday, sending at least a dozen people to the hospital and turning skies over Jerusalem gray.

Video footage showed vehicles stranded nearby as flames spread throughout the area, while another video showed the fire approaching a Catholic monastery.

The fire was being whipped up by strong winds and hot, dry weather. The cause was being investigated. Help was on the way from across the region, including aircraft from Italy, Croatia and North Macedonia, Israeli officials said.

Helicopters were dropping water to battle the flames from above, while other firefighting teams were responding on ATVs.

“We hope to reach 150 firefighting teams,” Israel’s National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir said.

On November 5, 2024, we saw a red wave for Donald Trump move across the United States of America. Still, unlike the rest of the country, Oregon voted to go bluer, and give the Democrats a supermajority in the Oregon legislature.

In April/May of 2025, Oregon saw a lethal bloom of red ink; as Margaret Thatcher said, “The problem with socialism is that eventually, you run out of other people’s money.”

In Oregon, we see the embodiment of a red algae bloom moving through all levels of Oregon’s government, stifling and killing every feel-good utopian program that the Democrats wanted or desired. This was even before DOGE, and Trump shut down federal funds.

Let’s start with Portland, which has a $93 million shortfall in the 2025 city budget. Next, we have this, from the boondoggle that is the TriMet: “Imagine a government agency that burns its way to 6 billion dollars in losses in the last ten years.”

If we move up a level to a county government, we will have the same red ink problems
