It's nowhere near October, but one ensemble is already on track to be named the most controversial Halloween costume of 2015.

Social media users were out in full force on Monday criticizing several Halloween retailers for offering a Caitlyn Jenner costume reminiscent of the former-athlete's Vanity Fair cover earlier this year.

While Jenner's supporters condemned the costume as "transphobic" and "disgusting" on Twitter, Spirit Halloween, a retailer that carries the costume, defended the getup.

"At Spirit Halloween, we create a wide range of costumes that are often based upon celebrities, public figures, heroes and superheroes," said Lisa Barr, senior director of marking at Spirit Halloween. "We feel that Caitlyn Jenner is all of the above and that she should be celebrated. The Caitlyn Jenner costume reflects just that."

New York zoo's second giraffe calf is a girl named Pippi
New York zoo's second giraffe calf is a girl named Pippi

A New York Zoo announced its second giraffe calf born in a week is a girl with the same father but a different mother from the first calf.

The Seneca Park Zoo said the second calf, born Dec. 13, is a female who was dubbed Pippi "due to her unruly ossicones" that resemble the pigtails sported by fictional character Pippi Longstocking.

Pippi was born to mother Iggy one week after another giraffe, Kipenzi, gave birth to a male calf dubbed Parker Jr., aka PJ.

Both calves were fathered by Parker, a giraffe who died in February 2023.

The zoo said the mothers and their calves are doing well in a behind-the-scenes area.

A Pennsylvania woman has been charged with homicide over the death of an 18-month-old baby that authorities say was fed batteries, acetone, and screws.

Aleisia Owens, 20, of New Castle, has been charged with homicide, attempted homicide, aggravated assault of a child, endangering the welfare of a child, and "other offenses regarding conduct leading to the baby's death and other acts of abuse in months prior," according to the New York Post.

Owens allegedly poisoned her boyfriend's baby, Iris Rita Alfera, who died of organ failure on June 29, 2023, after fatal levels of acetone had been found in the child's bloodstream.

An autopsy report revealed that Iris had ingested numerous "water beads," as well as a metal screw and button-shaped batteries in the months leading up to her death, according to Pennsylvania Attorney General Michelle Henry's Office.

From February to June 2023, Owens was searching on her phone for "information on household products that could cause a child serious harm or death, including water beads, batteries, and nail polish," police said.

Owens had also searched for "beauty products that are poisonous to kids" and "medications leading to cause accidental poisoning deaths in children."

The baby's father, Bailey Jacoby, had dialed 911 after Owens alerted him that the baby was unresponsive. The child was rushed to the hospital and died of organ failure four days later. Owens was living with Jacoby at the time of the child's death.

New Castle Police Chief Robert Salem called the case "heartbreaking" and explained that Owens's phone records were a "crucial piece of the evidence against her."

"The details of this case are heartbreaking. It is hard to fathom someone taking deliberate steps to harm a completely helpless child, then misled investigators about what happened," AG Henry said in a statement.
"The investigation shows that, for months, the defendant conducted meticulous research on how certain substances harm children. She then allegedly acted on her findings," he added.

Owens was brought into custody without bond at the Lawrence County Jail.
I assume this is her boyfriends kid and not hers, I could be wrong but going by skin color, she's a lot darker then te baby either way what a horrible person to kill an infant like this. What a dumbass to search for toxic chemicals that would kill someone and not cover that shit up.

TLDR>Troon registered sex offender is pedo and water is wet

A now former tutor and juvenile corrections officer from Austin, Texas who served as a member of the city's Human Rights Commission has been indicted on additional sex crime charges less than a month after being arrested for allegedly touching one of his students inappropriately.

In addition to his existing charge of indecency with a child by contact, 28-year-old Isaiah Smith now faces charges of improper sexual activity with a person in custody, and indecency with a child.

According to KXAN, the Office of Inspector General at the Texas Juvenile Justice Department hit Smith with the aforementioned charges on January 10 in connection with his time working at the Giddings State School, a juvenile correctional facility in Lee County.

Improper sexual activity with a person in custody is a first-degree felony and brings a punishment of up to life in prison and a fine of up to $10,000, or between 10 and 99 years behind bars. Indecency with a child is a second-degree felony punishable by between 2 and 20 years in prison and a fine of up to $10,000.

Smith was hired as a volunteer at the correctional facility in May 2021 and was eventually brought on as a juvenile corrections officer about a year later. As KXAN reports, however, he was fired after just six weeks. An investigation into allegations of inappropriate contact was launched soon after.

Despite being barred from employment at any juvenile facility in the state, Smith managed to find a job at a nonprofit tutoring group, which placed him at Atkins High School in southwest Austin in September 2023. He was fired from that position less than two months later, and another investigation was launched into allegations he inappropriately touched a male student.

On December 8, Smith was arrested and charged in connection with the Atkins High School incident. He has been held in the Travis County Jail since.

Thousands of supporters of the Palestinian cause, who oppose Israel's war against the terror group Hamas that is entrenched in the region, gathered outside the White House, vigorously shaking the security fence and hurling dolls soaked in red paint as part of a massive demonstration urging a ceasefire in Gaza.

At one point the anti-Israel crowd tried to breach the White House fence.

Footage was captured by TPUSA's Frontlines and Julio Rosas.

Law enforcement personnel, including Secret Service agents and police, equipped themselves with riot gear to confront the crowd, which aggressively threw symbolic dolls representing Gaza's children and other objects.

Footage captured during the Saturday event depicts the metal barrier being violently shaken, causing sections of it to shift backward. Secret Service operatives swiftly moved to the affected area to prevent any breach.

The protest is part of a global series of demonstrations marking the 100th day since the Hamas attack on October 7, resulting in 1,200 casualties and the abduction of hundreds. Over 100 of those kidnapped by Hamas are still being held in Gaza. A ceasefire deal that saw the release of some in exhange for both a cessation of hostilities and the release of Palestinian prisoners in Israeli jails was halted by Hamas when they continued attacks on Israel.

Tonight's demonstration stands as the second-largest show of support for Gaza outside the White House in Washington since the onset of the war. Washington, DC residents expressed their concerns by holding signs that question President Joe Biden's suitability as a presidential candidate, citing his unwavering support for Israel throughout the nearly 100-day conflict with Hamas. Some of the signs featured messages such as "No votes for Genocide Joe," "Biden has blood on his hands," and "Let Gaza live."

Protesters also defiled statues in LaFayette Square.
lol Genocide Joe, I love that his own party members coined that nickname

46-Year-Old Woman Loses 154 Pounds, Wins Mrs. Alabama And Becomes Model

Today's good news story comes from Hartselle, Alabama.

Dana Bradley, a 46-year-old woman from Hartselle, has recently been crowned Mrs. Alabama International in her debut pageant.

Bradley, a mother and homemaker, embarked on a remarkable journey after her doctor's warning four years ago.

Motivated by the tragic loss of her own mother due to neglecting health, Bradley took charge of her well-being. Since 2020, she has shed an impressive 154 pounds through a combination of diligent workouts and a balanced diet.

Bradley said she lost her weight naturally through hard work and diet, and she's now working to become a certified personal trainer. Her transformation has already attracted some clients who trust her.

"What makes me different than the regular health coach- I've struggled, I've been overweight," Bradley said. "I have navigated a lot of the obstacles that these people that I coach are going through."

As Mrs. Alabama International, Bradley's platform centers around fitness and wellness. In February, she will walk in New York Fashion Week as a model for Marc Defang and is set to compete for Mrs. International in Kingsport, Tennessee, in July.

"Today I love seeing the transformation, the amazing story that unfolded in my life, all because I put myself first," Bradley said. "I love seeing how much my body, my face, my skin, my happiness, my mentality changed as I took control of my health. Ultimately my entire life.

The before photos I do have are my most valued possessions. I am so proud of who I was and how hard I worked to give me the healthy life I have today.

That girl on the left, she was tired, exhausted, stressed, anxious, heavy set girl - SHE is my absolute hero and I love her so much. I’m very grateful to her every day for believing in herself to make those powerful changes."

Being fat is a choice.

I found something interesting if grizzly.

There is a series the History Channel did in 2011, Vietnam in HD. This is a 6 part series where they found old never before seen footage and personal recordings that they touched up to use with color. There's a famous photograph I dug a bit deep into.
Chances are you've seen the photo of the Execution of Nguyễn Văn Lém before:

Execution_of_Nguyen_Van_Lem.jpg

Vietnam in HD had color footage of this entire event that I saw someone had snipped. I've never seen the entire thing in color before:

It's a powerful piece of Anti-War footage to be sure. You can see why it won the 1969 Pulitzer Prize. But like any good Youtube thumbnail, what if I told you the entire thing was lied about?
Nguyễn Văn Lém was a Viet Cong Captain who had been arrested after slitting the throats South Vietnamese Lieutenant Colonel Nguyễn Tuân, his wife, their six kids and his mother. An entire family straight up killed. Lem had then dressed in civilian clothes, technically making him a spy where then he was summarily executed by Nguyễn Ngọc Loan, Chief of the National Police.
Yes, everyone involved in this story has Nguyen as a sirname. There's a 2018 account by author Max Hastings, where he says that historian Edwin Moise alleges that the allegations against Lem were false and "That the truth will never be known."
The truth is that an entire family was slaughtered by Communists and Lem was executed for trying to use a civilian disguise to escape, that American reporters caught on camera to report back home to fuel an Anti-War narrative because it gets people watching back home and marching in the street. The media has always taken things out of context and not provided it until years after the fact. The sad thing is that we're just the current generation to be exposed to it, with Iraq and it's chemical weapons, Afghanistan and it's goat herders who pose a threat to US security and the need to shovel money to the money laundering operation that is Ukraine because the Russians discovered it.

There is some good news however, Lem ended up dead in a ditch. Loan managed to get out of South Vietnam to the States where he had 5 kids, tried to run a business but got closed down because the locals remember him from the photo. The INS investigated saying that he had committed a War Crime under South Vietnamese law but Jimmy Carter stepped in saying "such historical revisionism was folly." He died 1998.

One of the best things about this story though is the sole survivor Huan Nguyen, son of Tuan. He had been shot in 4 different places, watched his mother bleed to death over 2 hours. Then was picked up by his Uncle, a South Vietnamese Air Force Colonel and healed up. They both fled to the states where seeing the Navy taking care of other South Vietnamese refugees on Guam encouraged him to join and over the course of several decades, eventually retired in 2022 with the rank of Rear Admiral and a loving family that remembers his legacy.

That right there is the American dream folks.

A California man dies after 3 different drivers hit him but never stop

A Southern California pedestrian died after he was struck by three separate vehicles and none of them stopped to help, authorities said.

He was hit about 11:45 p.m. Friday at an intersection roughly 20 miles northwest of downtown Los Angeles, the city’s police department said in a news release.

The pedestrian was identified only as possibly a Hispanic man in his 20s or 30s.

He was crossing San Fernando Road mid-block when a light-colored pickup truck traveling north in the southbound lanes hit him, knocking him to the ground, police said.

"He was breathing,” business owner Amgad Khalil, who saw the collision from his security camera video, told NBC Los Angeles. “He was trying to get up."

But the man was then struck by a large SUV that was also driving the wrong way, the department said.

The force of the second hit threw the pedestrian onto the road’s southbound lanes, where a midsize SUV ran over him, police said.

The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene, police said. No suspects have been publicly identified, and a police spokesperson said Tuesday that there were no updates.

"Nobody deserves this — nobody,” Khalil said. “I wouldn’t wish that on my enemy.”

"Does Khamenei Want Iran to be Bombed?"

Does Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei want the United States to attack Iran? It may sound counterintuitive, but Iranian behavior has changed in recent months. For decades, the Islamic Republic attacked Americans, but eschewed responsibility.

Revolutionary leader Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini blamed the 1979 attack on the US embassy on radical students unconnected to his regime, no matter how they coordinated behind-the-scenes. Iranian proxy groups then bombed the American embassies in Kuwait and Lebanon and the US Marine barracks in Beirut. The FBI investigation into the 1996 Khobar Towers attack fingered the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), though President Bill Clinton recalled the findings to prevent any impediment to his rapprochement drive.

Prior to the 2003 Iraq War, the Iranian government pledged non-interference. Instead, the Revolutionary Guards inserted thousands of its officers and Iraqi militiamen they trained. Over subsequent years, Iran conspired directly or by proxy to murder and maim hundreds of Americans utilizing explosively-formed projectiles. Through it all, both Republican and Democratic administrations avoided responding directly against Iran, instead targeting proxies in Syria, Iraq, and now Yemen. The only exception to this was President Donald Trump’s elimination of Quds Force chief Qassem Soleimani on January 3, 2020.
At this rate, we could wonder if Khamenei wants to see Iran destroyed in order to save Iran?

Female lesser kudu born at Cincinnati Zoo

Female lesser kudu born at Cincinnati Zoo

Officials at the Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden in Ohio announced the birth of a female lesser kudu calf currently being cared for by zoo staff.

The zoo said in a news release that the kudu was born Monday and zookeepers decided to step in and care for the newborn after first-time mother Sabi appeared uninterested in the baby.

"We didn't see nursing or much interest from first-time mom Sabi, so we stepped in and fed the calf," Eric Byrd, zoological manager at the Cincinnati Zoo, said in the news release. "We were also able to give the baby plasma that had been collected from her mom and saved when she had a hoof procedure. This will provide passive transfer of antibodies."

Officials said the baby is being kept close to her mother in the hopes that the pair will bond.

"She's receiving six bottle feedings a day right now and spending days with her dam and the other female, Sabi's mom Fjorda," Byrd said. "The care team gets daily weights, socializes with her, and makes sure that she stays safe with the adults."

UC Irvine students hospitalized after hackers share gory mutilation videos to Discord groups: report (Archive)

Hackers left some students and instructors at the University of California, Irvine reportedly vomiting and in tears after they posted gory videos of human and animal mutilation to student-run groups on a social media platform.

According to the Orange County Register, the gory videos left the college community spiraling on Jan. 9, with some students allegedly needing to be hospitalized following the incident.

Alina Kim, who helped coordinate the hacking response by the student-run Discord group, told the Register that “some things I’ve seen I definitely cannot unsee.”

“Some individuals were reportedly hospitalized with vomiting, panic attacks, traumatic responses,” she said. “This is something that has real psychological effects.”

About 3,000 people were reportedly exposed to graphic materials while on the Discord website before moderators blocked the hackers’ access.

Discord is a social media platform on which users can make voice calls, video calls and instant message one another.

Kim told the local outlet that the hackers have been identified, but their identity is being withheld because they appear to seek publicity.

She said the attackers demanded $1,000 in ransom to keep them from posting the videos for another month.

UC Irvine did not immediately respond to Fox News Digital’s request for comment.
Anybody who gets hospitalized due to gross pictures in Discord chats should really be put out of their misery for their own good.

Why Does Coca-Cola Taste Better at McDonald's? The Fast Food Chain Answers (archive)
There are a few reasons why Coca-Cola tastes better when ordered at McDonald's.

According to the fast food brand, it follows guidelines that are set by Coca-Cola to ensure that the beverage tastes as high-quality as possible anytime guests order it at McDonald's locations across the nation.

Per the chain, McDonald's cleans out its soda fountains with filtered water, which helps ensure that only the most high-quality version of the fountain beverage is served through the dispensers.

The filtered water and the Coca-Cola syrup used, McDonald's adds, are pre-chilled before they enter fountain dispensers, with extra syrup added so that when ice is added to a drink, it allows for a perfect ratio of syrup to frozen water.

These cold temperatures help maintain high carbon dioxide levels, which helps soda remain carbonated for longer, according to AllRecipes.

Another reason why McDonald's Coca-Cola tastes so delicious is because the chain gets the beverage syrup delivered in stainless steel tanks, The New York Times previously reported. The special tanks allow the syrup to stay fresh.

Additionally, the steel tanks also help protect the syrup from factors that could affect its flavor, including temperature and air, AllRecipes adds.

Other restaurants get their Coca-Cola delivered to them in plastic bags, according to the Times report, a method which, as AllRecipes notes, does not protect the syrup flavor as effectively.

McDonald's was able to achieve this perk of using stainless tanks due to a special relationship between Ray Kroc, the man behind McDonald's, and Coca-Cola that was established in 1955, per the Times.

McDonald's also notes that another reason why their Coke products taste so good is because of the straws they use.

"It's slightly wider than a typical straw so all that Coke taste can hit your taste buds," the fast food chain states.

A little good news for the Freedom Convoy.

Federal government's decision to invoke Emergencies Act against convoy protests was unreasonable, court rules

Government says it plans to appeal the decision

A federal judge says the Liberal government's use of the Emergencies Act in early 2022 to clear convoy protesters was unreasonable.

"I conclude that there was no national emergency justifying the invocation of the Emergencies Act and the decision to do so was therefore unreasonable and ultra vires," Federal Court Justice Richard Mosley wrote in a Tuesday decision. "Ultra vires" is a Latin term used by courts to refer to actions beyond the scope of the law.

Deputy Prime Minister Chrystia Freeland told reporters at a cabinet retreat in Montreal that the government plans to appeal the decision.

The Federal Court case was brought by two national groups, the Canadian Civil Liberties Association and the Canadian Constitution Foundation, and two people whose bank accounts were frozen who argued Ottawa did not meet the legal threshold when it invoked the legislation, which had never been used before.

Thousands of protesters angry with the government's response to the COVID-19 pandemic, including vaccine requirements, descended on Ottawa in January of 2022 and blocked border points elsewhere. The protesters parked large vehicles on key arteries in the capital city for nearly a month and honked their horns incessantly for days.

TIL shitflooding a Discord full of weak faggots is "hacking."
And they asked for a ransom, too. Can you imagine them stumbling on the SRS thread? They might die.
I genuinely think that's what it is. So much of this is not just hidden from people, but they actively shield their eyes from it and refuse to look at it to such a degree that seeing things is too shocking for them to handle.
