It's nowhere near October, but one ensemble is already on track to be named the most controversial Halloween costume of 2015.

Social media users were out in full force on Monday criticizing several Halloween retailers for offering a Caitlyn Jenner costume reminiscent of the former-athlete's Vanity Fair cover earlier this year.

While Jenner's supporters condemned the costume as "transphobic" and "disgusting" on Twitter, Spirit Halloween, a retailer that carries the costume, defended the getup.

"At Spirit Halloween, we create a wide range of costumes that are often based upon celebrities, public figures, heroes and superheroes," said Lisa Barr, senior director of marking at Spirit Halloween. "We feel that Caitlyn Jenner is all of the above and that she should be celebrated. The Caitlyn Jenner costume reflects just that."

Former NFL Wide Receiver and lolcow Antonio Brown was apparently involved in some kind of fight while attending a Boxing event hosted by Adin Ross. Shots were fired and Antonio might have been arrested but not before getting cheered on by Adin and the crowd. Adin Ross was the one who did a livestream with Donald Trump and fake gave him a CyberTruck.

TBF if I took the hit from Burfict he did those many years ago I'd be wearing a diaper and eating baby food for the rest of my life, not just behaving erratically.

Agree.

They don't need to do him dirty like that by pulling up unfinished stuff that he probably didn't thought was ready for a release. Keep in mind, the album TIM was exactly that. The last approved songs before he died, so this new song should have been on that album if it really was his wish. But no, this is something they took advantage of.

Oh okay so that's why one of the guys at the Indy 500 has him as a helmet sponsor. I was wondering about that.

You mean this one? Yeah, wonder how much they paid for this ad. I don't think it was "just for charity bro".

For those who want to hear the difference:
  1. BUNT remix
  2. The "official" (((release)))
  3. The scraped version feat. Kacey Musgraves (made for the AVĪCI 01 ep. )
Sounds closer to the first one rather than the third one, which is the most "authentic" one.

How many leftists will homeschool their kids now then Oklahoma public schools will teach about the 2020 "discrepancies"?

Oklahoma public schools to teach about the 2020 election ‘discrepancies’ using real data, and leftists are losing it

By Olivia Murray

How dare public school teachers introduce hard, indisputable facts, and ask students to draw their own conclusions? Don’t they know that public schools are institutions meant to be used for the proliferation of progressivism? The teachers’ unions and leftist activists have worked so hard to eliminate silly and outdated things like arithmetic, civics, and rhetoric, replacing them with curricula like critical race theory, gender studies, and socialism—and now, Oklahoma is undoing the entire structure they’ve spent decades assembling.

Under state superintendent Ryan Walters, Oklahoma is set to implement curricula that will encourage critical thinking. Not only is that a problem in and of itself for leftist ideologues, but it’s what he and the other administrators are using to do so: the “discrepancies” of the 2020 election.

Translation: the school systems will be pumping out thinkers, which means they’ll be pumping out conservative voters. (I remain convinced that you can’t be a thinker and believe in leftism; you can be intelligent, or smart and be a leftist, but you cannot actually be critically analyzing reality.)

Here’s the story, from a new article at The Hill:

Fair question. It's a well known driver, especially in Sweden, on a good (but not S-tier) team. The helmets are often left up to driver preference (Pato O'Ward's this year is fucking sick). If money changed hands, I'd say high five figures for a 500 helmet ad from him. Marcus is ex-F1 so he doesn't need cash but on the other hand he wasn't willing/able to fund his ride at a better team. Normal circumstances I'd believe 'charity'. New album? Nah.

Looks like the theory illegals doing jobs we don't do is a myth because they drive some restaurants out of business.

Illegals driving Southern California's restaurants out of business

By Monica Showalter

For the past several months, the open-borders left and its media allies have been promoting the 'narrative' that immigration enforcement has made illegals afraid to go to work, spelling the demise of the restaurant business in big cities as we know it.

But in Southern California, it's pretty clear the opposite is happening: Illegals are driving legitimate restaurants out of business.

This isn't because of illegal immigrants acting solely on their own.

It's the doing of public officials who refuse to enforce zoning and permit laws on street vendors, who are often illegals, based on a belief that if they do, illegals will get deported.
One set of laws for the restaurants, the other for the illegals.

As a result, the illegals, who can outcompete brick-and-mortar restaurants on price, are driving the latter out of business.

Amy Reichert points out the latest in San Diego:

Meh. As long as he made the music himself, I've never cared about that. It's a luxury to be able to fuck around learning to make music, for sure, but whatever. "Hey Brother" is a classic.
How many leftists will homeschool their kids now then Oklahoma public schools will teach about the 2020 "discrepancies"?
I mean, what indisputable facts are there to support the election being stolen? Trump asking Raffensperger for votes is the only clear, indisputable evidence I saw of election fraud. Republicans screwing with the USPS before the election also seemed shady, too.

Like most curriculum proposed, the devil is in the details. Regardless, I'd prefer critical thinking skills be taught apolitically in our public institutions.

Apparently Kim Jong-Un was there watching as the ship was damaged.
Shoulda learned their shipbuilding from the Chinks instead of the Ruskies.

I find it interesting that KCNA would announce it. Wouldn't North Korea want to keep that a secret? Why tell the world?

It's really strange.
Because it's hard to hide and they wanted to show off Dear Leader's righteous fury.

A dispute over Gaza appears to have sparked a fight in the European Parliament on Wednesday, with a left-wing staffer and a center-right MEP accusing each other of aggression — and the Parliament’s initial assessment siding with the MEP’s version of events.

A staffer from left-wing Swedish party Vänsterpartiet on Wednesday accused a Swedish European People’s Party lawmaker, Alice Teodorescu, of physically attacking them. But Teodorescu’s office disputed the story, alleging the Vänsterpartiet aide was the instigator.

Teodorescu’s office said the MEP had been on her way to a meeting before the Parliament’s afternoon debate on the Gaza conflict when the Vänsterpartiet staffer started filming her without her consent, saying they would publish the footage on social media to “tell the world what a terrible person” Teodorescu is. (Teodorescu is known for her staunchly pro-Israel stance.) The MEP then turned her own phone on the Vänsterpartiet staffer, who attempted to grab the device, leading to a physical scuffle.

“Several people in the Parliament saw it happening; it was related to Palestine-Israel tensions, because the MEP is very pro-Israel,” said a Parliament official, who was granted anonymity to speak freely.

The atmosphere in the Parliament on Wednesday was tense as lawmakers debated Israel’s ongoing invasion of the Gaza Strip during a plenary session.

A spokesperson for the Parliament said the violent incident, which was caught on surveillance cameras, was “being investigated as a matter of priority,” and “the initial assessment confirms the MEP’s version of events.”

The spokesperson added that the Parliament was providing assistance to Teodorescu, whose office said she had requested additional security.

Earlier, Vänsterpartiet chief of staff Marie Antman alleged to Swedish news agency TT that the staffer had come into her office “in a state of shock and showed marks that the person had received on their arm. Then it turned out that a Swedish parliamentarian had simply physically attacked my colleague.”

The secretary-general of Teodorescu’s party, the Swedish Christian Democrats, said on social media that the MEP is currently “in shock of the event, that such a thing can happen in a democratic institution.”

Five Supreme Court Justices Sit Out Case in Rare Move

The U.S. Supreme Court affirmed a lower court's dismissal of a copyright lawsuit against writer Ta-Nehisi Coates on Monday after five justices recused themselves from hearing the appeal, leaving the court without a quorum.

According to the order released on Monday, Justices Samuel Alito, Sonia Sotomayor, Neil Gorsuch, Amy Coney Barrett and Ketanji Brown Jackson did not participate in considering the petition, effectively ending the case at the appellate level.

Newsweek has contacted the Supreme Court for comment.

10 People shot in South Carolina near Myrtle beach on a chartered boat event.
LITTLE RIVER, S.C. (AP) — Ten people were shot during a fight that started on a private boat holding a holiday weekend party Sunday night on the South Carolina coast, authorities said.

No one died in the shooting in Little River around 9:30 p.m., although some of the wounded were in critical condition, Horry County Police said in a statement.

At least one person was taken to the hospital who was not hurt by gunfire, police said.

The shooting happened around a dock where a private charter boat leaves for cruises. The boat was docked and detectives are trying to figure out exactly where the fight and shooting began, police said.

A flyer online advertised a party Sunday night with a DJ on a three-hour cruise ending at 9 p.m. A woman who answered a phone number on the flyer early Monday said she was distraught seeing her friends get shot but then said she didn't want to talk any more and hung up.

Someone who answered the phone at the company that owns the boat said he didn't want to talk to a reporter.

No arrests have been made as detectives continue to investigative, police said.

A North Myrtle Beach police officer responding to the shooting accidentally shot himself in the leg at a marina about 3 miles (5 kilometers) away and is in the hospital in stable condition, North Myrtle Beach spokeswoman Lauren Jessie said.

Little River is about 20 miles (32 kilometers) northeast of Myrtle Beach. The fishing village is known for its docks and marinas where fishing expeditions, a casino boat and several dolphin cruises leave daily.

The Horry County Police Department posted on Facebook at 9:30 p.m., that officers were responding to Watson Avenue after receiving calls of an active shooting.

Videos from earlier in the day show the party in full swing with music, drinks, and dancing, highlighting the stark contrast between the day’s celebration and the night’s violence.

As of now, it remains unclear what led to the shooting, how many suspects are involved, or if any arrests have been made.

Obama's female secret service staff was caught in a brawl.
Shocking footage captured the moment two female Secret Service agents fought with each other outside former President Barack Obama's $8 million DC mansion.

The altercation unfolded May 21 at around 2:30am as the former president's security detail grappled next to a police vehicle.

In audio before the fight shared by RealClearPolitics reporter Susan Crabtree, one of the Secret Service agents was reportedly heard calling for a supervisor as she threatened to attack her colleague.

'Can I get a supervisor down to Delta two immediately before I whoop this girl's ass,' the agent in the audio said.

In a statement to DailyMail.com, a Secret Service spokesperson said the fight came as the agents were on-duty. It is unclear if the Obamas were in the home at the time.
