It's nowhere near October, but one ensemble is already on track to be named the most controversial Halloween costume of 2015.

Social media users were out in full force on Monday criticizing several Halloween retailers for offering a Caitlyn Jenner costume reminiscent of the former-athlete's Vanity Fair cover earlier this year.

While Jenner's supporters condemned the costume as "transphobic" and "disgusting" on Twitter, Spirit Halloween, a retailer that carries the costume, defended the getup.

"At Spirit Halloween, we create a wide range of costumes that are often based upon celebrities, public figures, heroes and superheroes," said Lisa Barr, senior director of marking at Spirit Halloween. "We feel that Caitlyn Jenner is all of the above and that she should be celebrated. The Caitlyn Jenner costume reflects just that."

Uncle Ted thinks that Facebook is intentionally hiding how many followers he has. You see, he's had people look into it. They're deep, deep in internet security. They work for the government. Nugent's said a lot of crazy thing.s But I think he may finally be going senile.

http://www.blabbermouth.net/news/te...ng-about-the-number-of-followers-on-his-page/

Outspoken conservative rocker Ted Nugent claims that Facebook is "lying" about the number of his followers on the popular social media platform, insisting that he has more than seven times the fans than the officially reported figure.

Nugent currently has three million and three hundred thousand Facebook followers — a respectable statistic compared to the number of Facebook fans attracted by most other rock artists.

But the musician, who has been described by some as a right-wing lunatic with a soft spot for conspiracy theories and a knack for off-color humor, believes that Facebook is intentionally underreporting the number of users of the social media juggernaut who regularly flock to his Facebook page.

Speaking to Doug Podell of Detroit's radio station 94.7 WCSX, Nugent said (hear audio below): "Right now, Facebook claims that I have three and a half million Facebookers. I've got people deep, deep into government Internet security that admit that Facebook is lying. I have over twenty-five million Facebookers."

Ted illustrated his claim using a specific example. "Last week I posted a meme that just identified something real simple, that there's gonna be a civil war… It was a joke — that somebody is talking about a civil war and one side has eight trillion rounds of ammo and the other side can't choose the proper bathroom," he said. "It's a joke, you goofball! I mean, didn't anybody ever watch Richard Pryor's movies? I mean, c'mon! So people went crazy with that. But I had almost twenty million hits. Now you don't get twenty million hits if you've only got three and a half million followers. Do you hear me? [Laughs] So I've got tens of millions and I thank them all."

Nugent credited his social media etiquette for his high number of Facebook followers, explaining: "I'm not an electronic, technology guy, but every night we have these danger-zone get-togethers backstage, [and] every night people are saying that there's no better Facebook on the planet that is more fun, more involved and where the host of the Facebook comes on and communicates openly and absolutely unguarded than the Ted Nugent Facebook. So I'm real proud of that, because my happiness comes from communicating with people and optimizing the good while we do our best to get rid of the bad and the ugly. And that identifies my Facebook."

Ted went on to call himelf "a communicating maniac. I really believe that open communication is the ultimate system by which people can understand each other, share ideas and experiences," he said.

Nugent made headlines in April when he got to spend some time in the Oval Office with President Donald Trump. Nugent and fellow Detroit-bred musician Kid Rock were joined in the White House by Sarah Palin, the former Alaskan governor and GOP vice presidential nominee, who posted photos of the visit on social media the following morning.

Ok, Uncle Ped, I guarantee that a good portion of those 3,300,000 followers are just following you for the lulz. There aren't that many toothless inbred racist hillbillies who have a high enough IQ to figgur out that goshdern Facebookermajig. Sure a portion of your followers are legit fans of your music too. But I think that because you have become such a joke people follow you because of that.

I seriously doubt the Nuge has 25,000,000 followers. He's famous as well as infamous. But this is 2017 and he's not that big of an icon right now. He ain't Pewdiepie. Get over yourself.

According to Telegraph it was to get sympathy and attention from girlfriends:

I knew a girl - who looked a lot like this one actually - who did something similar, it wasn't for attention from s/os but just friends/everyone in general along with I guess being a chronic liar? She somehow got into ROTC in college and started up the shit again to the point there was a court case, which was dismissed, because thankfully noone believed her shit.

My question of "why?" was more along the lines of why someone would want to rape that woman (and thereby, why would anyone believe the many stories). She's not much of a looker from what that picture shows.

Looking at her it seems more like "how?" the mechanics of it are mind boggling. Plus she is one of those people that you can tell they smell awful from how they look.

Man robs 7-11, steals all the Newport cigarettes.
https://patch.com/pennsylvania/lowersouthampton/street-road-7-eleven-robbed

A bandana-wearing man robbed a Street Road 7-Eleven store early Wednesday, and police are seeking tips to locate the suspect.

According to police, it happened at 4:37 a.m. at the convenience store at 932 Street Road in Upper Southampton Township. Police said a man entered the store, and approached the employee who was making coffee at the time.

The man directed the employee to go behind the counter, where he removed the cash tray and emptied it into a black bag. Police said the suspect then took all the Newport brand cigarettes before fleeing the store on foot, going east.

Police describe the suspect as having a thin build and white or light skin. He was wearing a banana over his face and a dark-colored hooded sweatshirt, brown pants and black sneakers with white soles.

Newports are pretty expensive. I wonder if his original intention was money+cigarettes or if he saw the Newports and decided he'd help himself to those as well.

It says white or light skin. But I have to wonder if it's a light skinned dindu because they love their Newports.

also, can you spot the typo in the article?

'I'm fully prepared to shoot cops': Messages of white supremacist revealed

"The combination of someone who has this obsession with firearms, his interest in child pornography and the kind of expressions [contained in the text messages], I must say I regard, personally, as deeply disturbing," he said.

Judge McLennan said he was "completely unpersuaded" by Holt's statements to a psychologist, in which he said he was not attracted to young women, he hated porn and he took a "particularly Christian attitude to the relationship game".

Holt, who wore a large crucifix necklace in court on Friday, has admitted being infatuated with neo-Nazi ideology and being a member of the Christian Separatist Church, an extreme, anti-Jewish church movement in the US.

Union General. Not Confederate. They dun goofed!

FAIRMOUNT PARK (WPVI) --
It's a marble mystery that has city officials confounded. How did a large, heavy statue of a Pennsylvania war hero get from Fairmount Park to South Philadelphia... and why?

"I think there was some work done to get this thing unsecured from the Arch, and then to get it transported to where it ended up. Honestly I have no idea," says Commissioner of Philadelphia Parks and Recreation Kathryn Ott Lovell.

It's a mystery that even has Lovell scratching her head - who stole the General James Beaver bust from the Smith Memorial Arch in Fairmount Park Thursday night.

She admits that whoever took it had their work cut out for them.

"That is the real mystery. We think it is about 4 feet tall and 300 pounds. This is not the kind of thing you can throw in the back of your truck. So, we are a little stymied by how in the world someone got up 12 feet high," Lovell said.

Someone discovered the bust Friday morning under the I-95 overpass near FDR Park. At this point, there are no answers to who, with what, and why.

Those hearing about the theft are just as puzzled as employees with Parks and Recreation.

"It is very strange, and I don't even know what to make of it or even if this is the last we will hear of such an act. I don't think it is, unfortunately," said Lance Bembry of West Philadelphia.

"I don't understand the meaning of why they would do it. What do they gain from it? Especially if you just dumped it few blocks down the street. I don't understand it - it is just crazy out here," said Larry Armstrong of Upper Darby.

The bust was installed in the early 1900s and leaders with Parks and Recreation say they don't know of any controversy surrounding General Beaver. Unlike recent controversies with Confederate monuments in our area and across the country, General Beaver served in the Union Army, making the theft even bizarre.

"I can't say whether or not this has any kind of connection to recent events that have happened," said Lovell. "It wouldn't have been the first time we've had a piece of public work or sculpture vandalized or stolen in the park system. We have thousands throughout our park system, so unfortunately they are threatened by vandalism and theft every now and again."

Police are investigating the crime.

Parks and Recreation says there was some damage to the sculpture, but say they will repair and return it to its proper home.

This is getting out of hand. Soon any statue will be up for grabs and idiots will be destroying them for lulz because everyone else is doing it. And in 100 years our great great grandchildren will look back on this and cringe over how backwards and retarded we were.

lol I bet they realized their mistake halfway through their plan to destroy it, so they quickly dropped it off on the side of the road before anyone could notice.

Al-Qaeda to Sue Antifa for Copyright Infringement

Saying that the radical leftist group had emulated both its look and political views without authorization, al-Qaeda announced that it is filing a lawsuit against the American “antifa” organization.

“Listen, we were doing the whole ‘dress in black, cover your face and run around screaming about hating America’ thing 20 years ago,” Ayman al-Zawahiri, al-Qaeda’s leader, told The Mideast Beast. “Then out of nowhere, these antifa jackasses come out with the exact same routine and act like they invented it.”

Zawahiri added, “Listen, I think that it is great that they are taking on our mantle and attacking innocent Americans for believing in free speech. But they should be paying us royalties!”

As of press time, antifa reportedly faced further legal action, as the Taliban accused the group of stealing its idea of destroying ancient statues.
