It's nowhere near October, but one ensemble is already on track to be named the most controversial Halloween costume of 2015.

Social media users were out in full force on Monday criticizing several Halloween retailers for offering a Caitlyn Jenner costume reminiscent of the former-athlete's Vanity Fair cover earlier this year.

While Jenner's supporters condemned the costume as "transphobic" and "disgusting" on Twitter, Spirit Halloween, a retailer that carries the costume, defended the getup.

"At Spirit Halloween, we create a wide range of costumes that are often based upon celebrities, public figures, heroes and superheroes," said Lisa Barr, senior director of marking at Spirit Halloween. "We feel that Caitlyn Jenner is all of the above and that she should be celebrated. The Caitlyn Jenner costume reflects just that."

Basically it's a douche wearing a Che Guevara shirt that's being sewn by a Chinese woman, chained to his ankle is a starving African handing him organic fruit, to his right there is a naked woman with a laptop to represent the abuse of women in porn or something, I can't remember the back two, but basically it's a condemnation of the modern Socialist or millennial.

I can't tell if you're being sarcastic but those child laborers are in Communist China where they don't have US trade laws to tell them they can't enslave children and spew pollution. It sucks that we buy that shit, but, we're not actually responsible for that.

I agree with you, but this particular case is barely censorship. They're deciding not to purchase an item to stock their physical store shelves with. This isn't information, this is a physical trade they're not actively partaking in.
