Internet and Age - Pu Stickles

Part of me wonders if there is someone on the Internet who had been on it since the very beginning (or somewhere near it)
 
The internet went to shit in the early 90's when ISP's started offering dial-up and eventually HTTP became an approved RFC.

Before that we had ftp, telnet, gopher, NNTP and other protocols. I remember when a 9600 US Robotics cost 700 dollars.

I'm sorta torn, because I remember the good days of the 80's and early 90's when none of you faggots were there, but now I can stream video and I've got steam instead of pirating every game.

It truly has become a mixed bag.
