What is this?
A thread dedicated to sharing and discussing interesting/cringey/obnoxious Internet animations. Old and new!
What is an "Internet animation"?
It's a cartoon posted on the Internet, and made by people just like you! It's one of the earliest forms of an "Internet meme". Those animations can portray a lot of different things, they could be for example: comedic and purely satirical, or they can tell a grand interesting story. The sites where those animations used to be really prominent were: Newgrounds, Albino Blacksheep and Something Awful. Nowadays, Internet animations can be found on any social media.

You're 100% right, I am late and gay. Maybe I am retarded, but I couldn't find this^ thread on here.
I should've paid more attention when searching for this topic, sry.

z0r.de is still around, and they're using some kind of flash emulator to preserve over a decade of culture. Lots of /f/ content, some OC, and a healthy sprinkle of random movie clips dubbed in german (because it's a german site).

I used to have a couple hundreds of bookmarked z0r flash animations when I was younger, I discovered many cool band and songs through flash animations (even if half the time the one cool part of the song was used for the flash and the rest of it is meh).

The 404 page (give it a while to load) is a banger of a remix of a classic internet song. You have pristine example of 2000s humor, old memes mashups, random moody loops, and AMVs. Maybe only 20-30% are adobe drawn animations, most of them in the earlier numbers. A lost of the content is mostly music with a short loop.
