Between Dan Olson, Lewis Lovhaug, Noah Antwiler, JesuOtaku, Todd in the Shadows love flag for Nyberg, and the combined autism of who knows how many Sonic the Hedgehog fans, is it finally time for these people to get their own board?

And if so, does the "no trolling" rule still apply to getting the news out that Mike Michaud's mom is having an affair with a black guy?

this is the most autistic idea ever. multiple "critics" and "reviewers" would be an unmitigated autistic disaster. like entersphere x 100

I don't think it will work well, since there are very few critics who are involved in embarassing off-site drama (e.g. Linkara, but there's not really any much recent info about him that is embarassing though) and thus the content will be just videos and different opinions shit.

Right now a thread in Community Watch works best for it.

Not to mention, that even if there was like a bare minimum of Lolcows to warrant that subforum, the Enterspergs would take it as an invitation to fill it up to the brim in borderline cows that dared to criticize their favourite show/vidya and it's soon full of the same sperging that forced us to cull the Entersphere.

I can only think of two "critic" people that have a track record of being lolcow worthy (DSP and Irate Gamer, and even then they are more gamers than actual critics). If we were to have a board, you'd pretty much have shit topics like "Nostalgia Critic is Demo Reel So Fucking Unfunny!!!" or "Linkara likes dickgirls". Channel Awesome has LOADS of drama surrounding it, but JesuOtaku sleeping around with guys for money and shelter is just her being a whore. It's not the same as say, rubbing feces on walls or a 60-year-old acting like she's 20 and has rape fantasies.

Overall, an Internet Critics board would just be more bitchfests than actual observance of activity.

The "no trolling!"-rule has been long since rescinded into "Go ahead and troll if you wish, but if your trolling is shitty, we'll mock you!"-guideline.

Isn't the current rule just not to use the site for trolling plans?

I also think it's probably smart if you do troll under some other identity, it's best if the results just end up back here naturally rather than by you posting "hey look everyone I made a poopy!"

It's a guideline, but it comes with a strong wish from the administration not to do that. In a nutshell people from out-of-site complained that our rules on the "No trolling plans!!!" was really hypocritical when it was kind of a transparent wish from Central Command to do whatever you want but it's not officially endorsed, i.e it to give the administration an excuse to hammer down failtrolls who were or would be an embarrassment to the site or post their troleing plans here on the site which is read by lolcows or using their Kiwi accounts that would be traced back here.

Generally if you want to pozload my neghole instead of observing it, it'd be preferable to :
1. Utilize Forum Groups
2. Use usernames online that aren't your Kiwi name.
3. Not call attention to ebin trolling plans in the threads where the intended Lolcows read them.

Why do we need a million boards for every little thing? Forum fracture is a legitimate problem and too many boards can seriously harm a forum. Boards shouldn't be made out of the idea of "hey that would be cool" they should be made out of absolute necessity.

Internet "critics" are fame-whores who would love the extra attention a moderately popular forum posting their youtube and facebook shit would bring them and they'd probably swarm the site with hundreds of their "fans" too. No thanks.

We already did that before *coughenterspherecough*. And look where that got us.

It's probably for the best to keep it limited to just the one main thread, and give another to anyone that noteworthy (i.e the already-made Linkara and Spoony threads).

think about it this way: retards are like stars. when someone gets autistic enough, it attracts even more autism to revolve around it.

we already have some problems going on in this site due to the nature of it, but the content we get from our better lolcows outweigh the downsides of having them here. but some people, and we're talking some O-Type autism here, should not ever exist anywhere on these boards because it would pull in so much autism we would be drowning in it and internet critics are exactly those kinds of people so no do not make a board for them thank you
