I thought in the start it's some forgotten Adventure game from 20 years ago, but it's a recent find the object game. Though it looks like stupid fun and surprisingly no politics (or any minorities). I wonder if there's any game in that genre that is a must play.

I need to add this, the playlist of unlisted videos is not some obscure information, it was in the last 30-40 seconds of the two hour long Metal Gear Solid video so it would be easy to miss, that's why I felt the need to make that post.

I love how the review at the end of the video gave the game a 100% perfect score, yet the guy who wrote it says the game isn't a masterpiece and also laments about how he and his wife got divorced. And on top of all of that, he's banned from Twitter. How embarrassing.

Gone Home was the game that heralded the dark age of gaming, it really only comes down to a PowerPoint presentation level of game design and having a lesbian daughter with the "it's totally natural" moralizing part. The blowback against it was one of the things that triggered the event that must not be named, dozens of low effort "artistic" games you could finish in an hour (all with the moral of how hard it is to be the most protected minority in the western world) and the insertion of liberal politics in virtually every game (and sometimes through translating foreign games).

Also glamorizing children running away from home should be punishable by jail time considering how a lot of those cases end up turning.

On the topic of embarassing reviews this gets recommended once you finish that video.

I don't get how you can even claim that it's good "game" design. It practically isn't a game. If you find the story good, I disagree, but that's something else entirely.
