It's surprising to see a communist care so much for intellectual property rights

Something something the ends justify the means. Simping for corporations, bullshit laws or questionable ethical standards is perfectly OK if the target of your lynching is an ebil nazi or someone else you don't like. Even though these loonies would never outright admit this to themselves. It's surprising to see a communist care so much for intellectual property rights
IH manages to add his own artistic flair to the articles he's reading, which can't be said for the vast majority of youtubers who copy an article. Niggers just read it and then give their retarded opinions about it for 30+ minutes.I don't really care if IH copied off of a mental floss article (oh no! He plagarized an online aggregator site) or whatever hbomberguy is mad about. IH puts his own spin on it and makes the knowledge genuinely entertaining.
There's a lot of content that people wouldn't have cared about or looked up otherwise if IH didn't do a video on it. I think why not a lot of people care about the IH expose stuff is that IH doesn't regularly plagarize and puts a ton of work into his videos (even the shitposty ones). There's a difference between a YouTuber with several million subscriptions stealing video ideas from a smaller YouTuber, and a YouTuber that uses basic content aggregation to make the main points of the video.
I feel like Hbomber is trying to equate IH to lazy YouTube "content creators" like YongYea, who basically read off of articles verbatim and throw in a few milquetoast opinions. I don't really see the same level of outrage Hbomber has on YT channels that read off of Reddit posts for easy clicks. Hell, YTers that use the Farms to aggregate content (without doing their own research) for lolcow drama aren't critiqued for their methods.
Back on topic, the wine video is fantastic. The most informative content I watched in a long time for someone like me who doesn't drink. Also answers some questions or preconceptions about age, taste and price.
Going by IH's last video on Incognito Mode, if the next video after that is indeed, about Drinking, it'll confirm the chart & topics from the "Paintings" video. Also, it might include the topic of tannins.

Same, I don't drink either so it's actually fun to learn these things. The painting one was even funnier, apparently as per some of the comments, the things that supposedly look basic (the pigment mix talk) aren't even taught to some actual art school students, they didn't knew about it till the video.Back on topic, the wine video is fantastic. What's weird is that IH is usually pretty good about citations, you would see them pop up on the bigger projects like The Gentlemen Pirate, Concordia, and the Swedish job all over. I wonder why the ball was dropped so hard with man in hole?I don't really care if IH copied off of a mental floss article (oh no! IH is an edgy boy that has made "based comments" here and there, in our year of the lord, Current Year +7 that is haram. How the fuck is Internet Historian a "right wing extremist"? What the fuck is this even based on? Is it the video he did on the pandemic where he mentions the governors releasing felons, the fact China knew and fucked over the west, and the Orwellian and insane nature of lock-down snitching and surveillance? Because I can't think of a single political video he has done or political takes shoved in their videos.
Like, of all the shit to call out IH for he chose right winger? It's like this faggot wants IH to get away with it by making the complaint so gay and retarded.
Your avatar is absolutely perfect for all of your sperging in here.If I write an article on a real event and then someone else copies my article and pretends it's theirs. That is plagiarism, regardless of whether or not it's based on a real event.
Nah, smart play is to do a Nostalgia Critic and ignore, it, the faggot wants him to clapback to get updoots, you just ignore him and let him seethe, specially when this has like a fraction of eyes than the Change the Channel shitshow.I imagine IH will probably put out some response to what happened, though I doubt it will be a groveling apology like Hbomber wants.
Though this is a very tempting second option.Having read a lot of the responses under IH's latest tweets I've come to the conclusion he should plagiarize someone else's apology video word for word to double down and spit in their face. It's nothing but pornsick faggots being passive aggressive and smug. If he does he will be the first YouTuber I ever give money to.
Pretty much, so when is the cock sucking goblin going to go call Yong Yea a faggot for reading articles verbatim while adding a few lukewarm takes? IH is transformative as fuck, I assure you 100% I would have given 0 shits about the original author's content in it's standard format. This doesn't even reach a Vaatividya point of relevance where he would get random shit from reddit and put it on his videos, he did end up giving kudos to everything he grabs due to people bitching at him not giving credit, but the dirty little reality is that those reddit threads would have remained obscure without Vaati giving them some visibility and he has no need to credit for dick from a legal standpoint either and again, a shit ton less transformative than IH.Don't let the breadtuber retards know that almost every video on youtube is just some guy reading a news article, forum post or wiki page.
Hell, you can see them in this new video. What's weird is that IH is usually pretty good about citations, you would see them pop up on the bigger projects like The Gentlemen Pirate, Concordia, and the Swedish job all over. I wonder why the ball was dropped so hard with man in hole?
His latest stuff has been good, the wine, and the painting ones I really enjoyed. I knew a tiny teeny little bit about wine, but he really did a good job diving deeper. Might be cool if he did a cigar one, but that's pretty niche stuff.Back on topic, the wine video is fantastic. One can only dream of an MRE episode with Steve1989.His latest stuff has been good, the wine, and the painting ones I really enjoyed. I knew a tiny teeny little bit about wine, but he really did a good job diving deeper. Might be cool if he did a cigar one, but that's pretty niche stuff.
Nearly the entirety of online media works on plagiarism. Journos especially. I wouldn't be surprised if we end up discovering the whole article ripped off a book and that's why the author didn't raise a stink. Before filling this thread up with more responses, please instead direct them to Hasan's thread.
How has nobody mentioned this:

Of course Hasan gets a pass because he's been hard at work reacting to those videos on streams. So much so that he has to step away while the video's playing and let chat continue to watch it without him. Such a generous guy.
It's also funny how Ethan Klein, the guy who won a lawsuit regarding copyright and fair use, pushed back when Hasan was trying to defend how he reacts on stream when xQc got called out. He claimed to no longer just let the video play while walking away, which was a bold-faced lie to Ethan's face lol.
one of my favorite celebrity moments is like a decade ago Shia LaBeouf got in trouble for plagiarism and his response was to plagiarize the same guy again and then when people called him out again he plagiarized Tiger Woods' apology for cheating on his wife or whatever and ever since then I went from thinking Shia was just some retard brainwashed former child star to thinking he's got some Andy Kauffman thing going on and everything he does is just to make himself laughHaving read a lot of the responses under IH's latest tweets I've come to the conclusion he should plagiarize someone else's apology video word for word to double down and spit in their face. I don't think anyone should make spelunking videos unless they're really gay.
Internet Historian has been a target for a long time and I'm not surprised a certain group is attacking now that a "big name" is pointing a flaw that justifies them trying to tear him down.
They have waited for this moment because for years he has made jokes that are not illegal or breaking youtube ToS and they can't do anything about it.
