Internet Historian Appreciation Thread - The best thing to come out of Austrailia since Mad Max (The original, obviously)

I like IH but the one truly bad thing he did was introduce me to the existence of Ordinary Things when they did those few collab videos together.
Ordinary Things is very funny... in IH's videos.
In all his new in the field stuff I look at the channels of the guys he's with who I've never seen before. And they are all homosexual.
IH seems to have the superpower of making homosexuals funny in his videos.
But with non homosexual guys I already knew, like Jontron, they really bounced off eachother and made for some very good humor.

Never heard of it. What's the woke in it?
It's less that it is woke and more that it is a trainwreck of a game, Here is a thread talking more about the game, but in short: the game is pretentious as fuck, the story is nearly incomprehensible, and the devs got into many controversies like referencing the mysterious death of a real life person, plagiarism and sperging out over " the gamers" not understanding his game on Dick Masrerson's podcast.

I need to vent about this and this is the closest on-topic thread to do so on.

I've removed YouTube algo suggestions from my browsing experience on desktop, however on mobile ReVanced still doesn't offer a patch to disable those. I also have my YouTube browsing history disabled, meaning that all the suggestions are generic YT algo suggestions, nothing based on my habits. In result, YouTube peddles me Polish politics that I never watch and populates the suggestion feed with them, even if I watch something like Gamers Nexus talking about a CPU cooler in English.

And guess what video YouTube decided to suggest, mere hours since it got uploaded:
As if I couldn't hate this pasty little faggot even more. I'm not even gonna spend a second listening to what this Neal Mohan approved golden boy has to say. It's either the algo instantly latching onto that title and promoting it to further the agenda, or someone at YouTube actually manually propped up that video. Either way it's incredibly fucking gay and it seems like this faggot is slowly veering into this type of political content, because his gay ass year roundups where he goes all-out to show the world how much of a spineless fag he is politically weren't enough.

God I need to switch to a different app before an appropriate ReVanced patch pops up because I genuinely despise the shit YT algo peddles to people.
Fuck Ordinary Things. I ditched this chucklefuck a few years ago when he went full soy redditard in his 2021 wrap-up where he unironically said January 6th was the death of democracy, then went on to make more tired h3h3-approved "muh horse dewormer" jokes about Joe Rogan.

On a lighter note, here's an actual based video on Davos/WEF that gave me a good laugh:

I thought Internet Aristocrat died of ass cancer, now he's a plaigerist
A traitor brought him back with the troll's remorse Negronomicon a.k.a gay video essayist callout.

Guise, please be more original when criticizing a notorious plagiarist!
How much did IH plagarized again? Everything he's ever done? The entire The Hole video? Or just a small part of it that got thrown out? Shit might've as well been that someone he hired to do scripts, because he sure as hell doesn't do everything by himself, fucked up and copy-pasted that article for that one part. After that IH settled everything out of the public eye and that was it.

Until, of course, Hbomberguy raised a stink about it. Hbomberguy, the hypocrite with troll's remorse syndrome, that used to roll with bad boys like Metokur, who suddenly had a change of heart and became a flaming SJW, and he only dug up this issue with IH in a video about an actual full on plagiarist because he hates IH and wanted to ruin his career, and by putting him into a video about bigger plagiarists will get his audience riled up about IH too. Incredibly slimy thing to do, but it's to be expected from a troll's remorse goon.

People like you, and people under IH's comments, are idiots, useful idiots that gobbled up the shit Hbomberguy said and decided that ackshually, IH has always plagiarized content. Evidence? Who cares? My Internet daddy Hbomberguy said he plagiarized something in one video so IH is a plagiarist and all his videos are plagiarized and has to apologize for all his crimes.
IH did the best move by not acknowledging the issue at all. Every single faggot that yells that he's a plagiarist just wants him to apologize and bend the knee, because it's never about straightening the record, it's always about a hate mob having control over a large Internet personality, narcissistic nobodies that thrive on ruining other people's lives that are bigger and more talented than them. They envy people like IH that have more subscribers than Hbomberguy and more views on his videos, and since they are evil, they cannot create, they can only destroy.

I do not care that IH, or someone from his team plagiarized an article which was a non-issue that no one cared about, becasue Hbomberguy is the one that raised the stink about it, and he's the one that I'd actually like to see cancelled, cannibalized by the fanbase he cultivated. A faggy hypocritical Breadtuber with enough shit in his past to get completely nuked out of orbit by the "people" he pledged loyalty to.

I still don't get how a timeline of events is a material that can even be acknowledged as plagiarism-possible
He copied some descriptive sentence to sentence from the article. I went through his original video, and maybe like 1/3rd of the video was lines used directly from the article. If it was a college essay he would get in trouble for it, but it's not, this is just an issue of "ethics in making YouTube videos" lmao.

I've been really enjoying his new videos. The wine video has to be one of my favorite videos of his. I have used it to pretend to know more about wine than I actually do, so thanks IH.

Question is if those descriptions even came from the original article or its own sources, and what would the alternative be? "Switch words around" and then alter its factual nature? It's not even a case of a translation from a non English chronology of an event which can be argued has some liberties with it.

When the fuck does muh plagarism end? Do you also need to put a reference to the creator of every technology you use to write a story? Organizing a timeline does not make you have the right to it, especially a lot less than the families of the people involved in it.
