Heya fellow Kiwis!
Got a bit of a dumb question for ya!
Right now I have a 100/30mbit cable line but for like 5$ less I can get a 300/50mbit line.
No brainer, right?
However. For 15$ more I can get a 1000/500 fiber line.
I use the Internet for regular stuff, streaming and gaming. Aside from the whole “more is better” would I feel a major difference? Is it worth it? Would it make a big difference in for example gaming?
Known it's a bit of a dumb question, just wondering if there’s a big difference latency wise with fiber vs cable and if anyone has any practical experience in games.
Thanks!
(Yes, I also posted in the technical sub forum, but was hoping to hear what a gamer with Fiber might think!)
