Not really a refugee since I'm mostly a lurker on SB. It got my attention due to its users sperging out after Trump's victory and its politics sub-forum are quite a salt mine for Trump related butthurt (though not on the same level as NeoGAF). Given the autistic nature of the forum I decided to lurk in hopes to find some real Julay as described in another thread. Since other places have way better lolcow related kahntent I more or less stopped paying attention to it.

I mostly learned about the site from lurking Something Sensitive and it being occasionally mentioned on the chans. I heard some legends that the place used to be way more chill many eons ago, then they had some drama with a tranny mod that led to the creation of Sufficient Velocity (some shittier spin-of forum) and that in this day and age fun is considered haram over there to the point the mods hand out infractions even for greentexting.
