I’m a boomer (gen x to be exact) and I was introduced to Jim when he started streaming about the coof.

I'm a real boomer. Born in the mid 50's. When I first got on the internet back in 93, there was no World Wide Web, We used things like Gopher and Wais servers and Usenet. The first two documents I found were a text file on Autoerotic Asphixiation (by Ol' Sarge) and something on how to fuck a horse. One of the first people I emailed with started telling me how he was in trouble with the law for having sex with his children. Back then, the internet seemed to offer what seemed like limitless freedom for ordinary people to communicate with the world without censorship, and the possibilities made me giddy with delight.

Kiwifarms seems to me to be the last vestige of that early internet freedom. I would never have become a member if they hadn't tried to close the place down -- even if, today, I lean towards the idea that the internet is probably cancer and does far more harm than good -- not least by allowing perverts to form communities with like minded perverts.

The appeal was in the freedom, not the sex. I had no interest in dressing up in women's lingerie and hanging myself, or fucking animals. I just loved the fact that anyone could talk about their experience of doing those things anonymously, to the whole world.

I'm here for several reasons. I've lurked and read threads starting a few times in 2017/18, then much more often since 2019. I believe places online where people can say whatever they like (which isn't going to get someone arrested) are good, both because more viewpoints and info can be distributed and because sometimes you just need to tell a cunt that they're being a niggerfaggot.

Beyond those, I've developed a bad habit over the past decade of downloading ungodly amounts of online videos, ranging from those which I know will be deleted soon to things that simply entertain me. This looks to be a good dumping ground for just that kind of material, especially since a number of otherwise great threads have video linked which is missing/removed; reading those just pisses me off, so I'll probably be looking to find and locally post any videos I can find relevant to thread. I'm also one of those weirdos who finds digging up dox material and archive searching to be fun, so I might even be able to be useful. Anyway, I tend to ramble sometimes, so tell me to shut the fuck up if I post too much
