Well shit, I didn't realize there was an introduction thread.

I've been stalking you all for a couple months. Didn't think I would ever bother joining but here I am.

I think I was drawn in by the Springtrapp and IDCP threads. Don't even remember how I came across them, as I certainly don't remember Springtrapp from my Tumblr days (I'm about a year clean now). Vaguely remember seeing posts from IDCP, however.

Yeah. That's about it. (Most of) you guys seem pretty chill.

It's been a while since I've been part of any kind of forums, but god knows I spend enough time here that I might as well just make an account. So, hi everyone.

Okay, since this is my 1,000th post and I've become a vested member of this community I guess it would only be fair to come out and share a little bit about myself since up until this point I haven't done much in the way of a personal introduction. Depending upon how closely you've followed me during my time here this is information some of you may already know.

The obvious lead-in is that I'm a member of the much esteemed "furry fandom", and was a part of its initial online generation. That's my sole identifying accomplishment on this forum. I'm getting up there in years, but I came around into the fandom in the late(-ish) nineties during college. I entered the fandom as a comic book nerd; the stores I used to frequent slowly started carrying more comics with anthropomorphic characters in them so I gave them a try on a whim... and now here I am twenty years later posting on an Internet forum with a username and avatar that's a throwback to a short story character I enjoyed reading way back in the day (The Adventures of Super Collie).

I met my partner in the fandom, and our first face-to-face encounter was at a convention we were both planning on attending. We're still together today, though our direct involvement with the fandom has been gradually decreasing over the years. He works in IT, and I've worn many hats. I've dabbled in publication, engineering/fabrication, and television production. Right now I'm "between careers" because I cannot escape my fate as a Generation X'er and I'm doomed to just jump from place to place and hope that Reaganomics will work for me, heh. We do not have any kids.

I started following Chris-chan some time in 2007 or 2008 or so, and during that time I was a participant on Encyclopedia Dramatica and other piss-taking snark websites. I've hopped around a bit, but finally settled on the CWCki Forums when it became a "one stop shop" for all sorts of crazies on the Internet. You can probably tell from how wordy I am at times that I've experience writing professionally; I'll admit, I may have written for some once-notable sites in the past and it's always encouraging to see support when threads and projects I contribute to are featured here (CLG Wiki, Aaron McCluske, etc).

Semper fi to Null, Katsu, Glaive (rip), brooklynbailiff, and all are armed moderators and supervisors for working toward keeping this place interesting and worth coming back to. Here's to another 1,000 posts. :heart-full:

What do you think of Steven Universe?
(small powerlevel here)
never saw it because i can't watch cartoon network (we don't have pay-tv services in my home), boing (the free network that shows it in italy) aired a small part of the first series not in order and can't "concentrate" to see a show with more than an episode (it's a thing of mine. short attention span?)
anyway. i find it good. the fandom is shit tier, though. (and maybe is for that i left tumblr?)

Do you have an atypical gender identity or sexual orientation? Do you have any mental illnesses, diagnosed or not?
What do you think of Undertale?

Welcome on the forums, I hope you'll enjoy your stay. When in doubt in terms of how to conduct yourself on the boards refer to the community guidelines or if you need advice on something not covered by the guidelines or public guides, you can always ask a supervisor / staff member to help you out. Also, it's heavily encouraged to leave :powerlevel: out of Lolcow discussion threads (just an FYI, "Hide your powerlevel!" doesn't mean to put it in spoilers, it means don't reveal it at all) and not casually share information about your private life unless it's relevant to the discussion at hand.

You should probably capitalize your posting outside of the tumblr subforum. In tumblr subforum, no one will notice or care how you capitalize.
