Hello Farmers.

I have lurked for a while, and I have grown to appreciate the sincerity in which everyone speaks and voices their opinion here. As the internet has aged, spaces for unrestricted speech and expression have dwindled. I grew up with the internet forums of old, in which people said anything and everything. I found myself increasingly displeased with spaces like Reddit, where even the most niche subreddits were slowly infiltrated with identity politics and the sexualization/politicization of hobbies/media I enjoyed.

Finding the Farms was like returning to the good old days. From my experience, users here do not stand on virtue and leave comments to bait majority support. I plan to lurk and leave most topics to the truly informed. I also hope to continue learning and researching news and events the greater media and internet thought police want to obscure. On a less serious note, I am a fan of movies, video games, history, ethics and philosophy.

I joined KF on Thurday because I felt that lurking was not enough and there was always a post or two that I would love to reply to and also some stuff being only accessible by being a member made it more inticing to join. I've known about this site for a few years now and I used to lurk heavily but dropped it 2-3 years back and now I'm back!

I appreciate all the hardwork and dedication of posters who go out of their way to create threads and gather maximum information for people to look into. You're the best

Now when it comes to me.... well I don't really lead an interesting life but I try to make sure that I don't get sucked into the negativity and drown my sorrows due to my surroundings or by everything that is going on in this world. I do love listening to music and rain noises and definitely am a big fan of horror genre whether it be movies, tv shows or gaming. I also try and stay connected to the outside world and go out (as of now I go out when it rains because it's am amazing experience). (doing an edit because I forgot to add that I LOVE doing sudoku, it's become my favourite puzzle to do when I get the time)
