I really feel a kinship with you at this point. Going onto a forum with a completely different culture and seemingly breaking all the taboos and norms while getting strong mixed reactions the entire time. In your case you had a rough entry and it stuck. The site owner did not make it easier by granting you an "honorary staff position". Gosh man with what we both have now gone through.
