So I’m looking at this thread and I just have a burning question; what is the point behind IP2? Is it just about watching people slowly decay and eventually self-destruct, or is there something more to it? Because the more I hear about what these dumbfucks do, the more I just get befuddled at why these people continue to live their lives in abject ignorance and stupidity. Might be a bit of a retarded question, but I’m genuinely lost on this one.

Ice Poseidon and the rest of the IP2 streamers are the reason why IRL livestreaming became mainstream with people like Kai Canet and Ishowspeed doing it and yet they have now all fallen into obscurity, most of them who never even took off to begin with.

It's a beautiful vicious cycle.

To be fair, Kai and Speed aren’t really doing what Ice did and neither are n3on or jack doherty or any of the other big ones. They all have security and scripts and every interaction is cut off immediately if it doesn’t reinforce their personas. It’s IRL in name only, not even theory.

A lot of the stuff that IP2 people did were scripted too, at least amongst interactions amongst themselves.
It's always been fake to an extent.
