Iran is truly a case of "man, I just can't fathom what to support from this spergery"
- orderly social conservative regime that doesn't like Israel, OK I guess
- opposed by feminists with Western support, fucking horrifying
- but the population also has had enough of dumb Shia theocracy and corruption, so I sympathize with them too
- but getting rid of that would change the country in ways that would make it unrecognizable, resulting in a complete loss of identity, which will be bad for Iranians long term
What even the hell can I say? Fight until one side wins, and best of luck for the Iranian people, may you rid yourselves of your shitty corrupt elites, without losing your soul in the process, best of luck.
