A lot of people understandably don't like affirmative action. Yes, giving mediocre to inferior blacks or women free spots really does suck. But consider that there may be some benefits to affirmative action if done right, and many successful organizations and societies used it as such.

Without affirmative action, certain groups of people will dominate certain fields. For instance, most doctors and psychiatrists are Jewish, Asian, or Indian. Jews make up 2% of American society but 14% of doctors and 29% of psychiatrists, and Asians are 6% of Americans but 19% of doctors. Engineering is dominated by Asians and Indians, like MIT is mostly Asian. This is clearly a problem, since a single group dominating a field leads to serious problems in terms of how the field functions and just who gets jobs in that field. Imagine a white or black doctor not able to move up because he doesn't go to all the bar mitzvahs like the Jewish doctors do.

Society once noticed this. Ivy League schools used to restrict the number of Jews admitted each year. Some countries like Poland in the 1920s and 1930s had even more quotas on Jews to prevent their overrepresentation. One of the finest historical affirmative action systems was no doubt the imperial exam found in Mongol China. This system was meant to train bureaucrats, but its test matter (Confucianism) naturally favored Chinese people, so to keep from being dominated by their Chinese subjects the Mongols made a quota for themselves and allied races like Turks and even gave themselves free points on the exam.

So why don't we have something like this? It could be weighted on IQ and population. For instance, blacks would get 2% of college admissions (or whatever) since they're a little over 12% the population and the black IQ of 85 is 15.7 percentile of the normal 100 IQ. On the other end we have Jews who have an average IQ of 112, about 79th percentile, so Jews (2% of the population) would get about 3% of college admissions. We could also mix this with affirmative action based on region, to limit overrepresentation from small but high IQ states like Massachusetts and DC. This system would limit ethnic overrepresentation and restore fairness into an otherwise meritocratic system.

What do you guys think? Maybe affirmative action really isn't so bad!
 
I don't think you understand just how reetarded the Womyn of Calories being elevated into all kinds of formerly-high IQ roles are.

Giving medical degrees and judgeships and control of entire engineering teams and infrastructure companies to impulsive, entitled HR naggers who can barely form sentences is a slow-motion disaster in the making.

You can look to other post-European societies unable to maintain the basic functions of civilization: Haiti, Rhodesia/Zimbabwe, South Africa, Detroit, Baltimore, etc.

Some groups ARE different from each other in meaningful ways. Niggers aren't just white people with black skin, chinks aren't just yellow slant eyed black people. Blacks dominate track, basketball, baseball and football for a reason. Asians dominate academia for a reason. White people are the most successful entrepreneurs for a reason.

Those reasons being that those groups have an OVERALL BIOLOGICAL advantage in those fields even if we don't fully understand those advantages. Regardless, the best people should be allowed the EQUAL OPPORTUNITY to do whatever the fuck they want. If they can't jump through the hoops or are bad at their jobs than that is on them as individuals and all them are EQUALLY ALLOWED to fail if they can't meet the set standards regardless of the group you come from. EQUAL OUTCOMES, which is what affirmative action inevitably creates, is moronic and will always lower standards and ensure a field does a worse overall job.

Jews famously practice nepotism and do not provide that equal opportunity to outsiders. Affirmative action does not solve this problem, suing them for unfair hiring practices and or unequal treatment for not being Jewish is what the legal system and equal legal protections SHOULD exist for (I know that is not how its being used, but I am working off ideals here) and should force them to either keep paying the legal fees or provide equal opportunity.

Just because a lot of traditional antisemitism is wrong doesn't mean there isn't a problem with the ratio of Jews and Asians in important fields like medicine and engineering. Why do you think circumcision is still pushed hard these days? Yeah, it's the Jewish doctors who promote it. That's an example of how one race's dominance of a field leads to worse outcomes for everyone else. Also Chinese and Indian engineers in the US, even US-born ones, have been caught with sketchy links to their home countries.

Enjoy all your engineers being Chinese or Jeets and your doctors and legal system being Jews. Taking a slight hit to merit to ensure fairness for all races (based on biology, not muh feelz like leftist affirmative action) is good.

Anti-nepotism benefits meritocracy, yes, because nepotism drives hiring based on non-merit factors.

"Affirmative action", OTOH, does not benefit meritocracy, because "affirmative action" also drives hiring based on non-merit factors.

The top black guy I ever worked with, he went to an Ivy League school. He was a very high up senior engineer. He had a salary of hundreds of thousands of dollars, probably. Even he, at work, I saw him threatening people with violence during work functions. And I don't mean regular meetings. I'm talking about the times when everybody in the office is having cake, for example.

Even if the other candidates for the job have Ivy League degrees and have all the skills necessary, Asians and Jews know better how to behave. They go crazy at work less often. Leftists complain like it's some huge racist conspiracy going back hundreds of years to keep black people down, but the fact of the matter is a lot of why black people are down compared to other races is because of their own actions and their own disgusting culture.
