Is anyone else playing Elin? (the Elona successor)

  • 🔧 At about Midnight EST I am going to completely fuck up the site trying to fix something.
Bonus-Bonus pro-tip: Once you can sufficiently kill shit you can go to a town and constantly reset the quests until you have five "kill X amount of monsters outside of town" quests and then kill all of them, turn them in, use fame to reset the quests constantly; rinse and repeat. If it gets too hard you sell all your fame for orens and keep going.

Quest boards in different towns are weighted towards different quests, so doing this works best in Willow and Nefu village. I think the optimal way to do this is to never leave town and instead get the monster killing quota from the Troubled Home-style monster killing quests that drop you into a map to kill monsters. I foolishly bought the advanced adventurer license, so I have to sell my fame more often, since at around 10k fame, the fame tax becomes annoying and the quest difficulty keeps scaling up.

Though at this point, I'm mostly waiting for content updates, since the only goal left in the game is getting dark matter tools through slightly shady means.

1) Grinding crafting until I can make Lumiest walls (they're crafted from dyes).
2) Buy dark matter dye in Olvina dye shop
3) Make dark matter Lumiest walls and place them in a dungeon floor that does not refresh
4) Burn dark matter Lumiest walls with Meteor spell to turn them into dark matter burnt walls
5) Grind mining until I can mine dark matter burnt walls for dark matter chunks
6) Craft natural slopes from dark matter chunks
7) Dismantle dark matter natural slopes into dark matter stones (when dismantled, a natural slope from materials whose basic state is not chunk turns into stone)
8) Make dark matter tools with 200 hardness. I no longer actually need them since I need to be able to mine dark matter walls to get here, but it's easier than grinding level 200 nefia in hope a dark matter material shrine spawns.
