So, I'm just gonna ask it. Is Asperchu finished? One of the comments on the last update (in September) said that it's safe to assume that the comic is finished due to the heavy Evangelion influence, as the last few pages didn't make a whole lot of sense. Is there any truth to this?

In answer to the general question, at the time I stopped I had some other stuff going on in my life that cut into my time a lot, and I basically was getting really, really tired of drawing the comic. I actually tried to revive it a couple times, but I just couldn't force myself to keep drawing. Sorry guys.

But thanks for banning Tape Collector. I don't care if he doesn't like my comic, but I got tired of seeing shit like "I want to collect Chris's VHS's" and "I have inside info on the stonecutters y'all don't even know".

Well, I'm sad to hear that Asperchu is no more but if you don't want to continue updating it, you shouldn't do it. Granted, I'd love to see Asperchu tied up but hey, I can't blame you for not wanting to do that yet.

Would you ever consider sharing the original ending with the forum or even a competent artist who would finish it? Don't get me wrong, I think Asperchu is great as it is, but I'm still curious.

Additionally, what would you think if the True and Loyal Fanbase had their hand at interpreting the ending and continuing the comic as a fan work (of a fan work)?

I kind of like the symmetry of ending at 10 like Sonichu does.

That said, you could do a one-off special, or holiday issue, or whatever, that kind of incorporates tomgirl and the arrest, and you wouldn't have to commit yourself to continuing it.
