I think we all know the answer to this. Chris is a "Special Snowflake." He thinks he deserves special treatment for conquering his Autism, until he gets in trouble of course, then he whines about how you can't blame him because he's got Autism. Of course if someone else has Autism he sees them as a threat to his special treatment and considers them a freak of nature. Chris is simply an asshole and a moron.

Ironically, Chris hates people with Autism because they're living breathing reminders that Chris' failures are not a result of his autism. He views his autism as a reason for sympathy and attention whenever hes confronted with being punished for his behavior or being held to the same standards as everyone else but he views himself as set apart from the rest of the "windows to hell" because he's speshul and is better than all the other Autistic people.


Simply put, Chris has the maturity of a 4 year old.

A lot of his bigotry could be due to him having no real grasp that other people have opinions or ideas that are different then his own.

Chris likes to appropriate the struggles of groups so he can beg for acceptance while appearing considerate of others, but he doesn't genuinely see autistic people as being a category he himself is in. He is no more a part of the autistic community than he is part of the Cherokee community. He just picks out whatever parts of different categories of people suit his needs -- autistics, Cherokees, men, women, adults, teenagers, heterosexuals -- allies himself with them when it's convenient, throws them under the bus when it's not, and discards whatever he doesn't want. Like the thing about other HFAs being able to hold down jobs, have relationships, and do one pull-up. That's a bummer, so Chris is an island of unique and special autism.

Unfortunately, he is borderline retarded, and his denial is why he refuses to get mental help. And it's why he assumes that his experiences are reflective of society as a whole. He doesn't deny that he has mental problems. He's pretty public about it. It's more that he feels like he deserves a pretty girlfriend regardless of his retardation. Well, also, he considers Rocky to be acceptable mental help, so there is that.
