I think that autistic people tend to be more likely to be gender neutral in that they don't really internalize gender. This means that they go with the gender that is convenient for social reasons, which matches their sex. This might actually describe most people. Chris just failed so hard at being a male that decided he was less of a fail at being female. She does not know expectations of women so she's just rolling with it.It's just the typical autistic gender issues. Nobody really knows why but people with Autism are almost uniformly gender dysphoric.
Most autigenders eventually brute force themselves into a proper facsimile of their gender.
