well he is the most documented person of all time, I believe, not only that, he is actually very famous on the internet, for example, I remember pewdiepie made a video about him. I think he's very much deserving to have a wiki article, especially since his crime echoed through the internet and lesser well known cows like sargon have an article. Even high mungus has one.

For people saying "being a lolcow isn't enough to have an article on Wikipedia", here's an interesting little article I found a while ago about what could be described as an early lolcow. If this guy can have a Wikipedia article, then why not Chris? Chris is certainly way more famous than this guy ever was.

Journowhore went after an autistic man and doxxed him in a major publication? Shameful.

I honestly don’t get why there isn’t even a mention of Chris on the Ruckersville page. How hard and how controversial is it to write under notable people “Chris Chan, Internet Personality and Youtuber”? You don’t even need to go full depth into christory to make an article. It’s totally doable in a way that neither glorifies or Alogs, which is what Wikipedia is supposed to do anyways: write unbiased articles on even controversial figures and issues.

Wiki troons, especially that one gorillawarfare editor, will never allow it even though Chris has finally made it into multiple True and Honest mainstream media articles

He represents them all and they fear the public making the connection that all troons are basically CWC at different frequencies of degeneracy

Chris is definitely notable enough for Wikipedia, but that's a pretty low bar nowadays. He's had a bigger impact than most of the content creators and streamers that have Wikipedia pages.

However Wikipedia has really strict standards on reliable sources unless it's something that fits the tranny admins' agenda. They allow a completely unproven account from Byuu's "employer", a Hong Kong based data company, to be factual confirmation of his death despite no death certificate being shown and no employee ID to prove he worked there. There's no way they'll allow people to cite the CWCki as a source despite that site having sources more reliable than most Internet related Wikipedia article sources with information coming from Chris himself or people who have evidence of their interactions with him.

crosspost but it probably better fits here.
Chris Chan grievance report.

Knowing these are the people behind Wikipedia makes my skin crawl.
Wikipedia's a total shit show when it's something like an internet or entertainment figure (be it person or website/work of media). Until they can all the tranny jannies I'm not donating a cent.
Apparently Wikipedia will allow an article on Chris... if it's written in Russian.

I don't think the Russian pages are controlled by trannies.

If a wikipedia article were to finally break through, I wouldn't get too excited over all of his lulzy antics unless they're highlighted in an "approved" site's coverage. Sure the fact he became famous in the first place was making a fan comic of Sonic, drawing the attention of trolls in places like 4chan and ED. Beyond that it'd mainly go into his broad family/education history and his criminal records, which would warrant its own section. Don't get excited about seeing specific weird things like god bear and recycling his own navy, it'd all just be condensed down to being bullied by trolls. There won't be anything interesting to extract from a page but I'd still like to see them finally cave in and at least acknowledge his notoriety

and Byuuanon says we're the conspiracy theorists. :story:

So just because people bullied Chris, that invalidates any significance he has as a cult figure, outsider artist, YouTube personality, internet sensation and... unintentional comedian?

The dude was nuts but he created an entire body of work, an art style, and was so unique of a character that people tried to do impressions of him and often failed. From when he was a child to now he basically kept his singular, iconic traits that make him stand out among other people. People will be doing impressions of him for decades and he will remain a symbol. Its sad to think that Chris, in his own twisted mind spent his entire life on this little CWCville/Sonichu project, became famous around the entire world only for the weirdos of Wikipedia to say he's not notable enough.

How then could Chris become notable enough given the fact he is retarded, poor, and undisciplined? Chris was Chris and he did as much as he could as Chris. Given his shortcomings I don't think we could have expected much more from him and yet history will deny him a place, even as a footnote? He wasn't a good guy and I guess he really didn't have any values in the end, but its clear there will never be another ChrisChan. It will be like SETI search for alien life. The search will go on but the conditions that had to manifest together to create this character will never happen again.

The elephantman was bullied his entire life and I am sure there are plenty of other extreme examples. Yet those people get a page in history. Chris was, I suppose a modern freakshow but he chose to be a public figure and he financially benefitted from it. It is not like Chris wasn't complicit in communicating with all the people who supposedly wronged him. He did most of it to himself.

To be honest I would say no, but given that thousands of infinitely more unknown and irrelevant people have articles, by Wikipedia standards he absolutely deserves an article. In reality none of these irrelevant losers should have articles. But given that we live in clown world none of that matters. Give the man an article.
