See post title. Is being a sexual degenerate actually fun (hence why it's so popular), or is it just something that will destroy you because you're already a miserable person?

I mean, furries and troons are some of the most common ones, but they never seem to be really happy, especially the latter.

No, not without the drive that actually... drives people to engage in it. Even then it takes a lot of selective memory to forget all the boring, frustrating, and generally unpleasant parts and only remember the awesome highs and peaks.

It's not popular at all. It's just that degenerates are really loud and vocal, and that it sounds enticing to mortals.

It gives you some pleasure in the short term but the price you pay is not worth it. Drug abuse will give you a high but will destroy your body in the long run. Trannies can live in a fantasy world for some time but ultimately reality will catch up with them. Women can fuck their youth away with strangers but will become bitter once they are childless in their forties.

Depends on the type of degeneracy. Tons of people are into very light BDSM and I'd say that variety is pretty healthy but once you get into shit like guro or lolicon, it's only a matter of time till a mental decline.
 
Yea frying your brain on drugs, developing an all consuming addiction to a substance, sleeping with a different person every night, etc certainly sounds fulfilling.

Some is fun, i guess, at least in doses. Drinking with friends on a weekend is fun, but being an alcoholic is just gross. Reaching that point of degeneracy is not a pleasant lifestyle, it becomes more self deprecating than fun.
 
Degeneracy is a lot like laziness. In the short term, a lazy person will do less work. He will procrastinate, he will avoid work, he will do his work poorly. These acts of laziness, however, make him do more work in the long run. The key feature of a lazy person is not avoidance of work, but an inability to see that their inefficient avoidance of work makes them do more work in the long run. People who truly avoid work are hard workers who are efficient and careful.

Degeneracy is fun. In the moment. In the short term. But your body rots, you betray your family, turn on your friends, and detach yourself from everything meaningful. You, quite literally, degenerate. Out of a misplaced desire to optimize pleasure at the present moment, they utterly sabotage their total lifetime pleasure. Degeneracy is not fun, it is horrid and destructive, but in the moment it sure does seem fun to an idiot.

There's a difference between fun and happiness. You're not going to find happiness at the bottom of a bottle, and going into labor doesn't look like very much fun. This is why Leftists are so unhappy, hateful, and violent.
