I mean yeah but you play the hand you're dealt. As a straight male, any relationship you're in is going to be minimum 25% gay because it has a man in it; that doesn't mean you should give up and go full homo. The bottom line is tomboy is the least gay.
 
The tomboy = gay argument never really made sense to me. I like testosterone-centric things like combat sports, lifting weights, red meat, and operating heavy machinery. When I'm looking for a partner, I want someone I can share interests with and share a similar headspace with. I also like someone who is capable of taking care of themselves physically, and takes pride in their personal strength. How is that homosexual?

The term "tomboy" was first used to define "a girl who behaves like a spirited or boisterous boy; a wild romping girl" in the early 17th century.

My point is that its use predates its bastardization by pornography in recent years. But also, the loose verbiage of "girl" makes it difficult to parse, seeing as adulthood was considered 21 at that time. But no need to split hairs, bud.
