I think it’s just a dumb stereotype made up by uggos so they can feel better about themselves for being jealous

ugly people can be just as vicious, petty, dumb and boring as anyone realistically can not to mention they constantly complain and act like a victim when someone attractive takes the spotlight I mean no shit someone who looks good is going to get the most attention get over it

Since genetic mutations happen sort of randomly, and 80% of the genome pertains to the brain, chances are a person with an objectively ugly face (racial and cultural differences aside) is fucked up in the head as well.

So from an evolutionary perspective, discerning between the ugly and beautiful is useful for finding fit mates and trustworthy people to cooperate while also avoiding crazy mutants like the plague they are.

This was the point I was going to make, when we talk about someone being "ugly" or "beautiful" what we're really talking about is a person's genetic health and a sound mind goes along with good genes.

However I'm talking people who are ugly enough to be really off putting, not someone who's average or below average or simply "not attractive", it's the really, really ugly people who are also pretty likely to not be of sound mind as well, but of course there's always exceptions even then.

Morality doesn't come into it for me. Hate implies distress, so its pretty unhealthy to hate anyone that doesn't mean you harm.

Heres the thing, its human nature to hate anything that is ugly and I am not going to defend the argument "How would you feel if that were to be you?" We all have our own separate opinions on this matter I suppose. I've never said that ugly people had the justification to treat others like shit, nor was I implying their plight was anymore terrible than the average person.
