Is it OK to dox someone if they've already doxxed themselves?

If it wasn't brought to attention and no one realized it's essentially the same as doxing the person (minus any legal implication). this is of course if we're assuming that it's unlikely for anyone to ever find out.
For example i found out a guy that's frequently named on a youtube channel that i happen to follow was doxxed and all his personal information (with some very interesting and embarassing details) is still available online, albeit not indexed on google anymore.
I'm pretty sure if i don't bring it up no one in the community will ever know. He's also the owner of a roleplay server (LOL), so he's likely to end up being harassed by some kids if i talk about it in the comments.

Most of what we do isn't doxing. It's just using the information that idiots show freely. If this cow already displayed his address all over the Internet, it's free game to go in his thread.

Yes, which is why "doxing" doesn't actually mean doxing anymore. "doxing" is just pointing out how moronic people have been by plastering all their private info on the internet equivalent of the bathroom wall. So they cope and demand the "doxing" stop because they don't want to acknowledge how stupid they have been.

What happened to Mr.Metokur was doxing because he went to great lengths to hide his personal info that was dug up through illicit means by actual doxers. There is a clear difference between "doxing" and doxing.

Why wouldn't it be ok? Seems preferable hosting it here rather than letting the cow delete it. That's kind of the point of this site.

I would just get in touch with them (anonymously, of course) and let them know their address is legible in the video, and give them a couple of days to delete it or respond. If they don't give a shit, then go ahead.

Addresses aren't interesting, though. They don't help with making fun of a cow, other than laughing at the mistake that they leaked their own address.
