If it's ethyl alcohol based, and none of the other ingredients are dangerous. The adulterant that is added to make it taste terrible, so most people won't drink it, is typically not dangerous (methanol is rarely used any longer).
Rather than drinking it straight, with some basic kitchen supplies, and some ingenuity, you can distill it to remove everything except the adulterant (which is typically azetropic with ethanol over a large temperature range).
