So the statistics are heavily inflated. The reality is if you encounter one of these breeds, you're about as likely to get bit as you are if you encounter a rottweiler. Yes. That is exactly what I mean. That would fall under 'retarded owners'. If your dog maims or kills someone you should be punished as though you've done it. Dogs are an extension of their owners. Just because it's a pitbull doesn't mean it's not entirely the owner's fault their dog hurt someone. If you own a dog, you are responsible for all the things that dog does, whether you can control it or not.

Pit bulls have a much stronger bite and much higher prey drive than other breeds, which is genetic. Temperament is something that dogs are bred for. If a dog belonging to a normal breed shows a bad temperament, it is not breeding material. Pitbulls had an aggressive temperament to begin with, being bred for pit fights, and the people who breed them don't assiduously select for good temperament to put it lightly. Combine this with retarded propaganda about them being 'nanny dogs' and you have a combination of bad temperament (genetic), dangerous physiology (genetic), shitty breeders (genetic), and retarded owners (environmental). I know a lot of retarded owners who have Shih Tzus or Beagles. Never heard of them killing anybody. Most of the issues with pit bulls is genetic, it's only exacerbated by bad owners.
