Is it wrong to pretend to be a woman and/or troon for Internet moneys? - I mean, if grifting is okay

People look at keffals and think the grift is easy but the vast majority of the true and honest get a few likes on twitter and zero money.

Keffals has the advantage of being on camera with a few filters and stuff to take care of the less-flattering angles and features.

I imagine never showing your face and showing some random stock image/AI girl would cause people to be suspicious. Furthermore, my large head is not an attractive base for anything, and would probably would end up looking like Shrek.

Same, it didn't even take more than having a female character with a cutesy name. WoW players were some of the most desperately thirsty people on the face of the earth.
 
I have thought about it. It's hard not to, when you see these idiot grifters on GoFundMe getting $20,000+ to move out of their transphobic parent's homes or to get surgery.

It wouldn't be hard for me to edit some photo of myself and make up some sob story about me being a troon and needing $40,000 for a stink ditch. How are they going to check and see if I'm legit?

Is it wrong to do? I don't think so. Why should I feel bad about taking money from idiots or coomers? Most people who donate to troon surgeries are well meaning but dumb people, or coomers that get off to seeing others mutilate themselves. As far as I'm concerned, I like the idea of idiots or perverts losing their money, not only because they deserve to lose it, but because having them donate to you means they may not donate to some actual mentally ill person. Maybe your lie could help prevent some other person from getting a real stink ditch. It's a win win as far as I'm concerned.

That being said... I could never go through with it. It just feels bad, idk. I'm not that desperate (yet). Besides, if someone did find out that you lied about being a troon and needing money for troon surgery, that could really tank your reputation. Not worth it IMO.
 
People do it for free, they don't even need to be payed - go check out the Man-hate thread for more info.
 
Look, I don't know what the hell you are planning but it is wrong and dishonest and could result in you trooning out for real.

Used to know a guy from the old MATI discord named Owen who trooned out.
Been thinking about using his tranny pics on like a gofundme page and just reel in cash.

The only consequence I can think of is that the people who donate to the cause will realize instead of donating to something totally fucking stupid and useless, they donate to something very cool and fun, my tf2 inventory.
