it there is an election and the candidae proposition are that if you vote for them you are responsible person if you dont vote then ofc you are a irresponsible person duh

I don't think not voting is irresponsible. I think voting only matters in certain states. If you are in California, sure, it's good if you vote Republican to show our numbers, and I hope there's enough of us out there to win, but I can see why you would find it pointless. Personally, I think voting is a good thing, but you are not selfish or irresponsible if you don't vote; it's a completely understandable choice.

In general, yeah vote. However, to actually be a functioning democracy, politicians need to be able to lose your vote.

There has to be red lines. Even if overall you don't want the other party to win. The people you prefer losing is part of democracy and how to influence them.

I'll use a hypothetical to try and illustrate. If the incumbent is supporting a genocide somewhere and you're unhappy about it. Even if you dislike the guy they're running against and think he'll continue the policy. The only way you can democratically try and influence that policy is for the guy in power to lose. Then maybe next time to gain power, the party could possibly shift to a position you prefer. If a party is doing things you dislike, but you still vote for them anyway. Why would they ever have a better policy?
