I highly disagree considering he was a businessman first and while he DID take the ideas that xerox created, but that's where patents and trademarks shouldn't exist in a free market. He was just smart and realized the potential with having a GUI. Plus he tapped into an unregulated market, where him and another Steve (Wozniak) were literally creating their own computer in a garage and decided to market themselves as Apple computer. So I think he's neither over or underrated, he's a well known businessman that revolutionized the entire planet, but unfortunately became subjected to homosexual governments and employees that wanted to change how things work from within.

most people are familiar with Jobs in his capacity as a figurehead for the company, so the brainlet takes are going to be 1) he's a genius who's responsible for all the good things Apple ever did, or 2) he's an evil dumbass who takes credit for everyone else's work.

this is a little closer to the truth I think, but there's also an element of right dude, right place, right time. much like Gates, a big part of his ascendancy as a modern titan of industry (this is largely true in any era tbh) was being one of the first dudes to see the opportunity, and having big enough balls to shove himself in there at any cost, even the cost of sacrificing the people he worked with.

Didn't the retard believe holistic Indian medicine would save him? A man like that deserves mockery.

the dude had infinite money, like he could have had his brain transplanted into a fuckin robot or some shit, but instead he completely rejected medical care and prescribed himself fuckin wellness shakes for his pancreatic cancer. I'm no proponent of modern medicine but like, lmao.

from Wikipedia:
Barrie R. Cassileth, the chief of Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center's integrative medicine department, on the other hand, said, "Jobs's faith in alternative medicine likely cost him his life ... He had the only kind of pancreatic cancer that is treatable and curable ... He essentially committed suicide".
According to biographer Walter Isaacson, "for nine months he refused to undergo surgery for his pancreatic cancer – a decision he later regretted as his health declined. Instead, he tried a vegan diet, acupuncture, herbal remedies, and other treatments he found online, and even consulted a psychic. He was also influenced by a doctor who ran a clinic that advised juice fasts, bowel cleansings and other unproven approaches, before finally having surgery in July 2004."

dead at age 56. lol. lmao
