The only way it could be wrong is if you hear voices when no one's around. Feel free to correct me though.

Read the Chris Chan sub.I would be concerned if you DIDN'T talk to yourself.
Can someone please explain the Chris thing to me? I am seeing references about it all over.
Humans are social creatures and social interaction is required for the proper functioning of the mind. People in isolation will, the majority of the time, go insane. Creating an imaginary friend to talk to is more desirable as a defense mechanism than completely losing it.I heard that people in solitary confinement make imaginary friends and life to cope. Same thing in some survival situations (ex: being on a boat/island by yourself.)
It's the only way to guarantee an intelligent conversation.
Being smart is not talking too little or too much.Do dumb people talk to themselves more or smart people (barring schizophrenics)?
Being smart is not talking too little or too much.
Too much: Too ramble on, to be overly verbose.
Too little: Dumb literally used to just mean mute.
Brevity is the soul of wit, therefor I shall be brief..... in stealing quotes.
Seems like you only started this thread to hear yourself speak. It's not only quantity that matters though. It also about quality. Like others said before, talking to yourself can used to organize your thoughts.
If I wanted to speak myself speak then I wouldn't made the thread. I want to hear other people opinions. That's the opposite of talking to yourself.Seems like you only started this thread to hear yourself speak.
I see what you did there.
How often that happens to you, if not a secret? The only way it could be wrong is if you hear voices when no one's around.
Never. If it did, I wouldn't be in here. I would be on the streets or in a ward. How often that happens to you, if not a secret?
