I think the "alt-right", i.e. everyone who is genuinely critical of progressivism, is a natural result of being exposed to how things actually work in the world. If you have a triple digit IQ and genuinely try to understand the world around you, you will inevitably end up as part of that nebulous group of boogeymen, because it is a completely logical reaction to understanding the world around you. That is also why the progressive tactic to prevent people from becoming aware is to try to censor all information about the failures of progressivism, in a desperate bid to prop up the falsehoods of "equality" and civic nationalism.

They just don't agree with us and if you start following them, you might actually start thinking. For me personally I went 'alt-right' or however you'd want to call it because of multiple reasons, to phrase it simply I like to refer to Marvin 'Killdozer' Heemayer's legendary quote:

"I was always willing to be reasonable until I had to be unreasonable. Sometimes reasonable men must do unreasonable things."

When men and women were allowed, dare I even say 'protected' to snap their fingers and consider themselves whatever gender they wanted to be and inject their mental illness into every aspect of civilized society which you had to just accept or be considered a pariah, I broke away from the mainstream.

When migrants were allowed to roam the streets and loot, burn, rape, leech on society I turned really embittered towards the mainstream politics.

And like so many others the injections of far-left politics in movies, tv, gaming, solidified my disdain for all these.

It was never about being groomed but by being looked at like a weirdo just for pointing out things were being taken too far with disregard of the consequences that pushed me into the arms of alternatives.

I think there are idiots who get tricked by algorithms into believing very extreme ideologies, but I don't think it's just a right-wing thing. Back in the day, post-YouTube purge, you only had Telegram, Bitchute, 4chan, and maybe KiwiFarms if you wanted alt-right content, but now with Twitter, it's more widespread. But I think the days of watching a cat video only to fall down the alt-right pipeline are dead and most likely barely existed, but what is more common is falling down the far-left pipeline. You start out watching retro video game video essays only to fall down the rabbit hole of Marxism content, or you watch what looks like a wholesome video about urban design only to start watching left-wing propaganda essays.

I think with YouTube's decline and censorship, the left-wing pipeline is more common. I think the alt-right has moved to Twitter and Rumble rather than bothering with YouTube anymore, so I think it's possible to believe extreme things because of social media algorithms, but I think those gullible people will believe whatever slop they are served. It just so happens I think the left-wing pipeline is more common now. because of the seemingly innocent nature of the topics they cover, such as video games or urban design, and because YouTube banned most alt-right guys, leaving only milquetoast anti-SJW reaction slop like Ben Shapiro in its place
