I think republicans proved that beyond a shadow of a doubt with Trump's threat of dumping the illegals they claim to want so badly in these sanctuary cities, and mitch calling on a vote on AOC's coveted "green new deal" that got exactly ZERO votes in favour of.

Hell, and the DNC are the more competent vitue signallers. North of the border, we have the complete and total muppet named Justin Trudeau. That guy virtue signals like a motherfucker and people hate him now more than ever, and I noticed he seems to be more gaffe prone ever since his best buddy gerald butts hit the road after it was exposed that Trudeau and his little cronies were trying to bully the attourney general into letting his corporate buddies at SNC lavelin have a DPA. Occupy Wall Street was the earliest example of the current-age "extreme left", and the one everybody should have learned from. It demonstrated just how easy it is for fringe lunatics to co-opt your movement and drive it into the ground, capitalizing on a lack of leadership, membership discipline and clear goals. If you don't develop immunity to their bullshit you end up with trannies claiming they invented the entire thing, who then sabotage your efforts more efficiently than the CIA.

But no, the Democrats aren't unified. The current crotchety, out-of-touch figureheads in the Democrat party aren't extreme left by any means; in fact, they're terrified of them. The Democrat old guard desperately wants to keep the party straight and narrow, doing what it's always done, but their leadership is decrepit. Meanwhile the only groups with any interest in leading the Democrat party are people who can't even come to a conclusion on what gender they are, let alone anything meaningful.

First off Joe Biden is not a leftist he's a liberal. The reason for this rhetoric about unifying behind one candidate is more of an establishment vs populism thing, that they try to push to the democrat base as strategic. These people in this thread who think it's strategic have been duped. Trump is an Israelite puppet, Sanders is a cuck, the establishment will make things objectively worse for everybody, Yang is the only populist left who hasn't proved to be a total faggot.

Wrong. The democratic platform is center left, especially economically and militarily. They are extremely pro intervention and hypercapitalist in the sense that they are run by big businesses that want to subsidize their shit pay by having the government fleece specific economic sectors (like guns and fossil fuels) in order to pay for public safety nets that companies like Walmart rely on to feed their workers.

What we're seeing on the left is that a lot of people drank the Democrat koolaid too hard and actually believe the horseshit they spout about the workers and immigrants and war and shit, so there's this massive grassroots social democracy movement that wants to fleece all businesses (even the ones that own the democrats) to pay for social safety nets for everyone, and then also force companies to pay fair wages and offer decent benefits. This kills the modern democratic party, full stop. This economic model being pushed by Bernouts is totally and completely incompatible with the modern democratic platform, which is exactly why 0 large businesses backed Bernie and why the DNC shit their collective pants when this geriatric fuck managed to raise as much money as their chosen candidate tapping into solely broke ass college kids.

The Democrats love war. That's why Obama did nothing to end any of them. That's why he didn't close Gitmo. Bernouts fucking HATE that about him.

The Democrats are, and have been for the last 50 years, capitalist, war hawk center left oligarchs parading themselves as a broad left social democratic coalition of peace and love. Unfortunately for them a lot of millenials took them at face value and are fucking LIVID it was all bullshit, and instead of following the Republican model and voting for the lesser of two evils, they are creating grass roots socialist fucktards that actually threaten to destabilize the left's fragile coalition.

I think deep down, most of the far leftists are reeing towards Joe Biden, because he is an Old White Male that dosen't fit in their progressive world view.

They can look as unified as they want, but i am not sure if they are really happy with Joe Biden being their best horse. The progressives rather want Kamala Harris as their top candidate and i wouldn't be surprised if the rest of the DNC would cave in to these demands.

Radical lefties, the kind that push crazy gender/race/socialism ideology, make up the minority of the party. But the mainstream left keeps moving in more and more extreme directions to satisfy them because they feel that this is a majority position in their party when it's not.
