I wonder how does one post this in 2018 when at that moment the SJW movement kept and kept on gaining traction. At this point the SJW movement won't die it just takes breaks.

The SJW movement can't be considered defeated until we see a tank outside of Harvard.

To me, wokeness is dead when the following two things happen:

1. When government contracts that businesses increasingly rely on stop rewarding diversity and stop penalizing businesses that don’t have diversity plans they’re executing on.

2. When every banking institution no longer requires diversity plans from borrowers and account holders and stops considering businesses to be high risk because they aren’t actively reducing white men in management.

When people thought wokeness was vanquished because of Bud Light or some state decided not to invest in BlackRock ESG bonds, none of those two issues above changed. If people want wokeness to end, you need to address the root causes and right now that hasn’t happened at any level, which is why wokeness is now being institutionalized and the powers that be are already sharing what wonderful ideas they have in store for us in the next few years. To them, the current iteration of wokeness being part and parcel of society is a foregone conclusion and they are acting accordingly.
