Racism is generally considered to be a bad thing, but racist tendencies have been observed in every culture in the world, and there is even evidence it nay be genetic.
However, a lot of institutional racism has been stomped out of our culture, so unless the racist is using their position to actively persecute other races, racism nowadays seems to be relegated to the personal opinions of groups or individuals.
Do these individuals have a right to be racist in their opinions as long as they are not racist in their actions? Does free speech apply to racist thought?
Has the anti-racism bandwagon gone to far? Or has it not gone far enough?
