Is there a thread for helping each other find lost memes and/or other media?

If not, someone should start it. I'm always losing track of funny videos and pictures.

I could have sworn there was one but a search turned up nothing relevant besides this thread and a dead thread from 2021.

Either I am searching the wrong terms ("lost media", "lost thread") or my mind got it mixed up with the frequent Lost Media threads on /x/.

Thanks for this. I could've sworn there was one too. My searches aren't necessarily lost, lost media. We should have a casual thread akin to Reddit's tipofmytongue sub… but more helpful, optimized, and less gay. You'll be downvoted into silence if you're looking for a meme that's too spicy or whatever.

If you really want one and don't want to necro that thread, just make a new thread. Either it takes off, or someone will pop in with a link to a pre-existing thread.

Agreed on Reddit tipofmytongue not being helpful, I was looking for a book once solely based on a memory of the illustration on the cover, and the thread got like 2 replies. I replied that one response was maybe similar, then got an automated bot asking me to confirm so it could close the thread. No helpful discussion whatsoever. Especially doesn't help that reddit's format is not conducive to multiple long-term overlapping convos.
