I ask because of article 13 and recent events I been seeing a more alarming trend of more and more people not able to voice next to anything online and it gotten so bad recently that even banks if a news article talks shit about someone can refuse to work with you just happened to a user online and even paypal can outright fuck someone over now.

I am wondering if this continues and gets worse what can anyone really do to get the message out there or even possibly stop it?

If all forms of media restricts everything you can possible say and even can land you in jail in some countries for it how does anyone really stop it if it is done by the government itself?

How can you get the message out there if no one can really hear you say it? or in some places you end up in jail for it for even suggesting a protest how do you fight against something like that?

Pessimistically, no. Political apathy is too powerful of a force to be overcome for long, even by violence. The vast majority of people don't care as long as it's not too egregious. As long as they can watch football on Mondays and the weekend, they're fine. And by the time one attempt at sweeping mass censorship is stopped, another will take its place.

Some say violence is the solution. I don't buy that at all. In fact, I'd say it's counterproductive. Violence is more likely to buy sympathy for the censors.
