There's a lot of resistance to LGBTQIAP+ and a rejection of woke shit and it's ideas (BLM, Climate Protests, white bashing etc) that's recently started here, even if still holds on to some power now.

I've heard of more Japanese media over the past few years that's started putting that stuff in. Yuri (lesbian women) and yaoi (gay men) subcultures have always existed over there, but they seem to keep to themselves and don't try to push too much. There was that Wonder Egg anime 2-3 years back that had a tranny in it (who apparently got sent to hell) and recently some Jap Mobile game called "Project Sekai" revealed one of the characters to be a tranny. A few months ago as well, pride marches in Tokyo were sponsored by Sega. There's probably some more I could think of.

It seems like since they're losing influence over here, they're trying to push it over there. They've probably been doing it a while, but are more open about it now.

I disagree. It seemed for a while it was wide-spread, but that's because there was a lot of policing on social media (and with some governments) as to what could and couldn't be said. It was also heavily pushed in schools and academia. It had an illusion of power since the few that subscribed to it would do all in their power to ruin the lives of those that vocally disagreed with it. As Josh said on MATI, all it took was Elon slightly loosening the rules on Twitter and we saw a lot more people come out against it and the tide began to recede. It's not a mind virus, it's a top-down implementation. Most people are either neutral toward it or dislike it. I feel like younger people are a lot more hostile to it than the generation prior as well.

People don't even bat an eye when a game offers Body Type 1/2 instead of Male/Female, it's just the new normal. It's pushed in schools, but people are fighting back against it. There's a lot more outrage about woke stuff being pushed than there used to be and the backlash only seems to be growing. It's not going to be instantaneous, but like a hairline with male pattern baldness, it is receding.

I'll give it to you that a lot of games nowadays do put in options like that, probably a lot more stuff as well but I don't tend to play new games or watch films and movies. Though I heard that new Joker film bombed and I think I've heard of a lot more films and games bombing over the past few years (there was that Cuck film that made literally $0 at the box office, that Sony Hero Shooter that shut down just after launch, a lot of outrage at that Assassin's Creed game with the black samurai, etc).

From what I've seen, younger people tend to be just as, if not more edgy than the prior generations, certainly more edgy than millennials who were the ones who pushed all this stuff.

I think it’s two unrelated phenomena. Firstly, conservatives in the West are becoming much more prominent in their opposition to progressive ideals and policies. I think historically there was an acceptance of the “live and let live” argument and the “I just want to grill” attitude was prevalent, but the changes in society over the past decades has shown people that these policies do directly affect their lives. Now that conservatives are more prominently opposing progressive ideals and policies does that mean progressivism is beat? No, not at all. It simply means it’s no longer fait accompli.

Secondly, what you’re seeing in Asia is merely Americanised millennials finally getting some social power and all that American soft-power is starting to bear fruit.
