I agree, though it took my family a long time to realize the kid had been given a Star Wars name. The fanboy dad wasn't forthright about it at all.

If you're going to name your kid after something from pop culture you care about, why not pick a character with a real name? "Luke" would've been super safe, y'know? There are options.
