Someone - one of the exes, I believe, maybe one of the roommates - outright said, Bella is so stupid that her father was forced to give TT a grant to get her enrolled to begin with.

But, think about it for a moment. George W. Bush graduated from Yale. Money more than makes up for stupid. And it isn't just Old Money, either; look at how many idiot children of B- and C-list celebrities go on to barely graduate from Ivies. (And Mike has more than enough money to pay her way into an Ivy. Two of those companies received separate, $800,000,000 grants from the US government.)

For Bella to have been sent to a school like TT, that far away and that removed from the social world that these people clearly want to be seen as part of? That says something:

It says that they know what Bella is, and did not want her around the children of people they want to do business with.

ObBella; I agree that her attending TTU is very curious especially as there are many schools of that tier close to home. Who knows what the background is. Agree she is not bright and one wonders if she had an IEP or similar in school. But the choice of TTU, could it be related to her friends going? Didn't she know Louis before TTU? Maybe they went with a least common denominator that accepted them both?

On Bella, I'd presume that its the friends that dictated her school choice more than anything else. She had virtually every college and university in the nation to pick from. Certainly, she may not be the most academically minded perhaps, but for most university and colleges, the standards arent that high, to say the least. Let alone, a remedial extra year or even half year is pretty easy to fit in. Why not select a school with more prestige, at the same level, closer to NY or a more major city in Texas? If you're going to go exotic but with a lower standard, why not head to California, or Florida? Why Lubbock, of all places? I'm not sure how her grades are, but I would assume that it would be social reasons that would lead her halfway across the nation, rather than TTU is the only school that would accept her.

To be fair to Yale and the Bush family, as much as George W. Bush was an incompetent in many ways, it's more nuanced than that;

Yale has been basically oversaturated with legacy admissions for decades and its more a university that has more of a focus on networking within the social sciences for everyone (so George W. doesn't actually stand out there), through legacy admissions. The other aspect is, as @Spooky Bones does point out, GWB is actually reasonable smart by conventional standards and there are media perceptions that he did embody and somewhat feed on his own.

When exploring his father's biography, I will admit, it does appear that GWB was portrayed as more of a playboy and not a serious political contender (with GHWBs tenure in China, and the GWB trip to visit him there when he was younger, he really did seem like a guy who seemed as unsure of his direction as any other, and smartly wanting to avoid politics for some more fun things in life). Really, GWB should be seen more like a Kennedy-esque figure, in my opinion. Thrust into politics and following in his father's legacy, much more of an extrovert than his brother Jeb (who actually was more groomed into politics and more astute in political matters, but had 0 charm), and a bit more of a joker. Def wouldn't call him dumb by conventional means either, as much as I did find him very, very ineffective

This is no shade on the school, but money, dad and mom’s connections plus the private school education was supposed to get her into a college daddy could brag about. Instead I have a feeling she got into Texas Tech thanks to some contracts or networking dad did with some string pullers there. I bet covid canceling SATs and other criteria is the only reason Daddy even managed to get her in.

I feel like you should throw shade at the school.

TTU is located in Lubbock, one of the highest crime cities in the country. It ranks below top 200, I think its around 217 last time I checked. They are in lawsuits fairly often with the student body because they don't really take care of them.

The people who go there can't even get into the satellite schools for UT and A&M most of the time, or they have family pressuring them because of past attendence. There is no reason to go there from out of state if you had virtually any other option.

The info presented here will be stuff she already knows about based on what zoe discloses. As I said before, I wanted to let people know that gears are in fact moving since this forum has been nothing but a festival of beating dead horses for awhile.

Call me optimistic, but I think something more serious is in the works. Only reason why I say this is because this is quickly making the news and spreading into normie circles by the day (just look at YT ffs). And every time she's name-dropped the school is taken down with her. The only way for them to save face is at least show that they're actually ~tAKinG acTIoN~

Now, what that action is, or whether it will matter in the long run, or if it happens at all.... eh only time will tell.

I'll bet my right nut she just gets a slap on the wrist and some sort of silly suspension so they keep her at a distance until this all dies down.

Then,

I'll bet my left nut she actually gets expelled.

This has been quite a wild ride, for real. We might be able to see some closure. Glad to see Zoefiri is fine and she didn't get hit with Bella's last autistic gayops attempt

I'm firmly in the "But why does this thread exist?" camp. If you deliver I'll change my Thunk rating to something actually worth Internet good-boy points, but for now I'm skeptical.
