Isn't it just bizarre to see the ''Internet walking into real life''?

Seeing 'Chris Chan' mentioned on Tucker Carlson really hit it home for me. But that isn't the only thing. Seeing obscure internet cultures, discussions become part of political discourse is just bizarre to me. Does anyone have any idea what I'm talking about? it used to be what was online was largely ignored by the media and never really occurred in real life. The capital storming in the U.S was another one too. Most of these movements occurred online.

Sadly this seems to be true but it's disorienting. There was also a thing called ''Internet personalities'' (a beefed up version of ones own personality) that seem to be crossing over into the real world. It used to be you'd never do things you said you were going to do on the internet, it was just a place to blow off steam. Now people (as I mentioned already above) are doing these things.
