Isolationist Master Race - Wow there's a lot of threads about the master race

Nah. Total American domination. Burn all other languages, only English, because everything else is chicken scratch. Every place a G.I. stepped in WW2 is rightful American sod. China should be blasted off the map to burn the stain of communism from the earth. This ain't globalism, this is imperialism baby, and imma gonna embrace it.

The responses here shows that many are too used to the UN/NATO/ASEAN/BRICS alliances that they'll say "but hur-dur we need resources from other countries" as a coping mechanism. Maybe you faggots enjoy that type but for the majority of all history, removal of barriers and discouraging of independence only gave birth to the shitty near-dystopian future we are in. Why the fuck should each national from their respective countries whore themselves out to another country out of "trade"? Had each country remain independent without any outside interference, each country would be unique from each other in terms of culture and other inventions. Maybe they won't be civilized, but look right now, some countries aren't even civilized like Haiti, so it is on-par with the course.

The only justification for interference is if resources are low and war/hostile takeover is necessary.

you're right, if they're military weak and I also konw that the combined powers of it's neighbors won't do shit, I can simply invade them for their resources.
After all, if the other nation is so great, why haven't they truly used the resources properly, it's because they're weak and we'd do a better job than them.

The only Master Race I recognize is PC Master Race.
Otherwise, we're all just different shades of flesh. Bigotry is a waste of time. Except when we are discussing the PC.

Globalism is good in some regards since free trade (which is at the root of globalism) is objectively good for the economy. This is basic economics that goes back to Adam Smith and David Ricardo over 200 years ago. The only problem with free trade is who gets the resources since the logic of free trade meant that countries should devote themselves into being satellites of other countries and export only a few goods to the detriment of the vast majority of their people, like modern African countries growing nothing but cotton for export and having to import their own food meaning they suffer from massive famines. In that case it was and is beneficial to have tariffs promoting internal development and becoming self-sufficient in terms of food.

If the US/whatever country you live in became isolationist, then you'd end up paying far more for pretty much everything, not just plastic Chinese crap but literally your very food. The better solution is a healthy midpoint between total free trade and total protectionism and in particular one in which the groups reaping the bulk of the benefits of free trade like big global multinationals and big banks are properly regulated, forced to play by the same rules everyone else is, and above all, forced to benefit their host nations by paying their fair share of taxes.
