So I just had a fun near death experience.
I currently live north of OH route 8 and work south of route 8. The highways closer to home were all clear with the exception of people slowing down for an accident in the northbound lanes. Once I got near route 8 the snow got really bad and the highways were varying degrees of messy.
Things weren't forecasted to be quite bad enough for the higher ups to tell nonessential personnel to stay home. So I'm getting closer to work and everyone is going 40-45 MPH on the freeway. And then I skid and it turns into a spin. I must've panicked and turned the wheel the wrong way or too hard. By some miracle I barely avoid taking out another car and/or rolling over and I ended up almost in the ditch in the median facing the wrong way.
Some other driver pulled over and she was able to flag traffic to slow down and I was able to drive to the other shoulder. Fortunately there was no damage and I made it in 20 minutes ago. Roads should hopefully be better by the time I leave
