Oh boy, here we go with all the low IQ right wing males telling you it's your fault because you "voted wrong".
OP, you're not going to get any sympathy here. Unfortunately all the /pol/ rejects have invaded this place like the Somalis in Sweden. You'll probably get a lot of replies about voting wrong, mixed in with some violent misogynistic comment about you getting raped by blacks or something (/pol/ fags and the dudes larping as Christians LOVE big black cock, you'll hear all about it shortly). All of it is just some shit regurgitated from some closet fag on Twitter with a Greek Philosopher's bust as his icon.
Also, just get a real job and practice your art. The pendulum will swing back, most of us can't stand the out-of-place diversity hires. I mean did you see "House of Usher"? I used to like that director but their shit is completely unwatchable now because of the useless amount of diversity.
This. All you can do is wait it out really.
Quite apart from the fact that the Brontës were historical figures that actually existed, it doesn't even make any sense for them to be multiracial, because they're supposed to be sisters. I know colourblind casting is a thing, but it shatters my suspension of disbelief immediately and reminds me in no uncertain terms that I am watching a play.
Stuff like this seems to be popular lately. As long as the race flip is white to POC and not POC to white. If it's a parody and is played for laughs it's a lot different than when it's played serious. Like the black Anne Boleyn, which makes zero sense at all historically. Never mind when Elizabeth finally takes the throne.
This would not be seen as so controversial if racebending was allowed the other way around. It's not. Same with making gay characters straight. I'm not saying we should just bend every character and historical figure to our preferences because reasons. But if it's ok to do it one way than the other should be equally acceptable.
